03:44But there's a lot of things that may not be her place to say
03:47that she's saying doesn't give a crap about it.
03:49And it's true.
03:51I want to, you know, keep the peace.
03:53I want to, you know, be the middle man, make sure everybody's getting along.
03:56But all of this is just way too similar to all the Olivia stuff.
04:01After getting through all that, I can detect bull when I, like, I can, I can detect it.
04:07If somebody does not have my family's best interests in mind,
04:09then that just doesn't sit right with me and that's not going to fly.
04:12Yeah, I guess Veronica's big thing or big problem was that
04:16she felt like we didn't like her or whatever.
04:19If you want to have friends, you have to be friendly.

04:23When I first met Veronica, everything was great.
04:27But now, you know, there's some things that have happened with Mariah and Veronica.
04:31And I don't know where in the mix that Veronica was feeling that she was made out to be a liar.
04:37I don't think that Veronica's a liar.
04:39I think she truly wanted to help Mariah during that phase where Mariah was involved with this guy.
04:44I guess she's just maybe running down the path of they hate me.
04:49And she's giving life to something that's not true.
04:52But, you know, as a dad, I'm like, this is not a good situation.
04:55Everyone should be put through the ringer by Veronica.
04:59And it's not like we were sitting here wanting to pick a fight with her.
05:02No, I most certainly did not want to have a fight with her.
05:04I didn't want her to be an enemy.
05:07But, I mean, she has made herself just that.
05:11I don't think making a feud, and I've seen it happen before because Olivia,
05:16choosing to have a feud with the family that you're trying to marry into is definitely not choosing your enemies wisely.
05:23Well, she's made it to where it's harder to get along with her now because of the rift.
05:28Veronica has been reaching out to Olivia, talking to her.
05:31And if you truly wanted to understand my family, you'd be talking to them.
05:34You wouldn't be talking to Olivia, who single-handedly tried to destroy relationships with my family.
05:41I don't understand it, but there's nothing I can do about it that just solidifies to me who Veronica is.
05:48Veronica reads into things, and she comes to conclusions that are not there.
05:52And she thinks that other people have malicious motives that they don't have.
05:56What happens is then you start behaving and acting on that.

06:02I can tell you if she was more like Kalen, this wouldn't be a thing.

06:08Well, yeah, Kalen and Tegan are quite opposite of Olivia and Veronica, just personality-wise.

06:15Family's first, and whoever I marry, which hopefully is Kalen, but whoever, you know,
06:21my wife is going to respect my family, and I'm going to respect her family, too.
06:26I don't see how I could be in a relationship with someone who's disrespecting my family.
06:31I don't know what Mike is going to—I feel bad for him, but I don't know what he's going to do to go about that.
06:36So, yeah, I don't know how it'll be for the wedding, but I hope it's more on the pleasant side than the unpleasant side.
06:43I know Veronica's coming up to the wedding with Micah here next month, and every day it's like there's a new red flag with her.

07:39Since the fight, Micah and I took a little, like, time apart, we wanted to calm down and wait till the
07:44family left to have a heart-to-heart. I love Micah and I have hopes that things would get better.
07:50We have completely different learning styles, completely different communication styles,
07:54but I'm trying to find a middle ground for both of us to have a healthy way to communicate.

08:03in saying, I'm sorry that we're disagreeing right now, and please be open-minded to this.
08:08With us being raised differently,
08:10we have to have different levels of expectations and standards.
08:15One thing that, like, I guess sets me off and upsets me was when you say my emotions and I'm,
08:21like, too emotional, because Olivia told me that she described a lot more emotions
08:27and was called overly emotional.
08:31I think bringing Olivia into the whole thing is very controversial. I think, yeah,
08:36Olivia probably has some advice that might, may help Veronica, but in all fairness,
08:43Ethan and Olivia aren't together anymore, and I don't think that Olivia has the best
08:48mindset about my family. I just wish we could mind a little bit of our own business a little more.
08:53I have a lot of big emotions, and maybe some of those emotions you've never had before
08:59or never learned, but there's some perspectives.
09:06So I was born under a rock and still lived under a rock.
09:09No, but there's some perspectives I don't think you have that I have.
09:12Like, we weren't raised the same way, exactly the same way I was.
09:14I've known that since day one. I don't, I love you for who you are. I don't like you for what...
09:18But we don't process the same ways. We learn very differently.
09:22Mm-hmm. What is the proper way to process emotions? Everyone's different.
09:26There's no proper way, but there is ways to process them instead of just sitting there
09:31and, like, shutting down.
09:33I feel like I'm a good listener, but I'm angry. I'm frustrated. I feel, like,
09:40massively overlooked, overstepped, like, belittled. I feel all these things, but unless I can talk
09:48and not be talked over, there's no point in me even trying.
09:51So I had to figure out, don't keep yapping. Ask questions and wait to be listened to.
09:57Yeah, that hasn't happened.
10:02What happens when I completely hear you, I listen, and I'm trying to understand why you're reacting
10:07the way you react. And then when I come up with an answer, two words come out of my mouth and you
10:14twist them. You throw them right back at me.
10:16I don't intend to twist words. There's twisting on both sides, it seems.
10:28This part makes me awkward. Yeah. This is the part where I keep talking because I feel unheard.
10:35No, there's nothing wrong with keep talking. It's when you interrupt me when I finally try to say
10:38something. I know. I just don't know when you're trying to say something.
10:41I feel awkward silence. So you don't listen?
10:45No, I do. But I feel awkward silence because it makes me nervous.
10:49Every argument is relatively the same, though. We argue. I try to stay as calm as I can,
10:56listen, and then try to give you how I feel. And whenever you're super, super heated, it's like
11:03you won't listen to me. You won't take anything I say like I mean it.
11:07And I like that I'm emotional because people know what I mean and I can tell you straight up
11:12how I feel. There wasn't huge fights in my house growing up. Everyone was like,
11:18you disagree, you still get along, you know? When Veronica is angry, she's literally a volcano.
11:26It just spews out until the pressure's gone. I don't think she can control her emotions. Once it opens,
11:35it empties. I think that in the heat of the moment, you say things that you can never take back.
11:42And words have a lot more meaning when someone is very heated and you can't take them back.
11:50And out of anger, I do talk. I want to get it off my chest.
11:55And I'm a spineless worm. Today, yeah.
11:58I'm a weak little man. Yeah, I said that.
12:10So I've got lace and sparkle and all the things, hey?
12:13So today, my mom and sisters and I are going wedding dress shopping.

12:19catching your eye? Everything's catching my eye, but we can't try all that one.
12:23I mean, I can see myself getting married someday. Of course, I'm not in a rush like some people.

13:46Okay. However, if you're wanting something a little bit mixed fabric, so there's lace on the top and
13:51it's clean on the bottom. This is kind of your realm where you'll be. The wedding is coming up in the
13:55next few weeks. So I need to find a dress that I can either bring home today or that'll be in quickly
14:02because dresses can take a long time to come in. How does something like that make you feel?
14:05It's got like a cap sleeve. Oh, I like that. And like a really pretty open back kind of situation.
14:10Would you try her on? I would say that that would definitely one. Beautiful. I'm going to throw

14:23cold out, definitely try to take that into consideration. Some dresses like they're beautiful,
14:28but I look at sleeves or no sleeves. I don't, I personally just don't like the look of no sleeves.
14:32I feel like it's choppy. Like even if there's just, just like a little droop there, I feel like it
14:36adds, it frames you a little more. And other dresses, like I wouldn't be able to run freely.
14:43And I want to be with the frog in the beach. Look at that. That's pretty. Yeah. Got a touch
14:49of the pearls. But I want to try that on. I think you should try on what you're looking for,
14:55but you should also try on a couple of dresses that are totally different. Absolutely. Absolutely.
15:00It's special to get to go wedding dress shopping with my daughter. They have a ton of gorgeous
