09:24When it comes to Veronica and how she feels about the way Micah's family perceives her,
09:32Veronica has the dynamic of approval addiction.
09:35She wants to be accepted.
09:37And so when the family is saying things or doing things that does not feel like acceptance,
09:42that may feel like rejection, it goes to heart.
09:45It's her fear, fear of losing, fear of not being loved, fear of being by herself.
09:53Micah, tell Veronica how that feels for you when she takes those jabs and digs at your family.
10:00Well, it puts me on a little the defensive side over the people I grew up, my only friends growing up.
10:08So it's very hurtful.
10:10And I'm torn between the girl I love and the family I love.
