Loan sharks harass family of dead borrower

Despite the death of a borrower, loan sharks are still harassing the victim's family.  44-year-old Yee Soon Yap, who died in September last year, had allegedly accumulated debts with the loan sharks.  MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong said it was unfortunate that family members are being threatened by the ah long even after the borrower had died. 00:15the borrower have threatened by along and as a result suffer from heart attack and died

00:25this thing happened in this last year when the borrower died of heart attack last year

00:51this year started this year march that they found out that the along all come to the house

01:00and threatened the family members to demand the money from them all by this uh disease not only

01:08that the family suspect something because when he died on that day there are also people coming to

01:14take photographs you know mysterious people go and pick the photograph maybe uh dead uh people

01:22they go and want to take the photograph to show that oh he already died so maybe those they don't

01:27want to disturb uh after the brother-in-law artist the brother uh brother-in-law died of heart attack

01:36uh he said uh he said uh that was in august but very regretted fully uh that in september they still

01:45come all these people come take photographs even at the date of uh of the funeral they also came and

01:51take photographs so they didn't let go they didn't let go and they have been disturbing harassing them

01:58for uh for uh harassing them for i think uh august now more than a year already and uh uh by mean of

02:06harassment is uh still putting flyer still sending flyer and i don't understand why the along send flyer

02:13already is dead already i think he have to send to the uh you know wong lah huh turn up already died

02:19already uh he still send flyer for what the person like he still send flyer also they uh receive

02:27threatening and until the whole family now including the a lot of old people in the house uh all

02:34they're very very frightened total three police department okay from uh september onward okay last year

02:49from the face still the alone managed to trace where they stay and they went after all the uh

02:57innocent party there is they're not involved in this now how much they borrow also don't know this year

03:04we have this type of case already four cases already where that people the deceased died

03:09and still they go after the family member four four so we don't understand why they resort to this

03:18stuff uh ungentleman tactic bullying tactic the whole family doesn't know how many along they took

03:25and don't whether you took from along or not we don't know so anyone can come out now we died already

03:30anyone can come and claim money they cannot go after the immediate family they go after the the next of kin
