Portugal formally recognises Palestinian state, foreign minister says   Portugal, the UK, Australia and Canada on Sunday joined over 150 countries that now recognise a Palestinian state. 00:06to announce its official recognition of Palestinian statehood.

00:11Speaking from New York, Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel stressed that the move

00:16is crucial for the preservation of the premise of a two-state solution, but considered that

00:21it did not address the current crisis.
