00:01:12They probably thought I was crazy, so I'm in here to find some alligator.
00:01:15And they said, well, we got it, but it's frozen right now,
00:01:17so I didn't get to eat any.
00:01:18But I thought, you know, I got to put that in my bucket and let's get me some alligator.
00:01:23I've had rattlesnake dipped it in some sauce-like chicken, a little bit greasy.

00:02:15Oh, thank you.
00:02:17Say, I wanted to share some things with your listeners today.
00:02:22One of the most important things I could ever share.
00:02:28How do you get answers to prayer?
00:02:32And that's been a subject of 3.2 trillion Bible studies over the years.
00:02:39But I wanted to show your listeners today the secret of getting answers to miracle prayers.
00:02:51The big stuff, the big stuff, stuff that's huge.
00:02:58And if you take a look here real quick, Luke chapter 16,
00:03:06something really interesting.
00:03:10In verse 16, Jesus makes a very strange comment.
00:03:19He says, the law and the prophets were until John, until John.
00:03:29Since that time, the kingdom of God is preached.
00:03:38And every man presses into it.
00:03:41Now, the Greek word there for presses, this is the King James Version.
00:03:49The Greek word there for presses is biadzo.
00:03:51And it means to crash through something, to kick the door in.
00:04:02Kind of like a raid on a crack house where the cops are using that door slamming.
00:04:12I can't remember the name of the thing, where they use it to swing it back and forth and smash through the doors.
00:04:20For example, in many major cities now, there's a huge crime wave going on.
00:04:28They're all over the country looting.
00:04:31And what these criminals do, they pull up in front of a jewelry store or something,
00:04:37and then they stop and they back their vehicle and it crashes through the front door.
00:04:45And 15 guys jump out and rush into the store to steal everything.
00:05:00That's biadzo.
00:05:03That's what it means.
00:05:05Jesus mentioned the statement again a second time in Matthew chapter 11.
00:05:16And it was right after John had been executed by Herod Antipas.
00:05:24He chopped his head off and he presented his head on a platter
00:05:29to his daughter, stepdaughter, and then she gave it to his wife.
00:05:41And Jesus said that no one had ever risen greater than John the Baptist.
00:05:49And then he said something real interesting in verse 12.
00:05:55He says, from the days of John the Baptist until now,
00:06:01the kingdom of heaven suffers violence,
00:06:05and the violent take it by force.
00:06:10Now, the Greek word for suffers violence there is the same Greek word,
00:06:17biadzo, that was in the verse in Luke, where it said presses in.
00:06:24It's the same word.
00:06:27The kingdom of heaven suffers violence.
00:06:29For example, the criminals driving a car through the front door of the jewelry store.
00:06:37The cops crashing down the door to get into a crack house,
00:06:40something of that nature.
00:06:41And here you see strange language used by Jesus, very strange.
00:06:50And what was further interesting in these two verses
00:06:53is that the law and the prophets were until John.
00:07:02Since then, the mercy of God is preached.
00:07:07Grace.
00:07:07So, the dispensation of grace started with the conception of John the Baptist.
00:07:13And it went from there to now,
00:07:16and then in the future to the second coming of Christ.
00:07:19The dispensation of grace has lasted at least 2,000 years, we know, for sure.
00:07:28But, biadzo is an interesting term
00:07:31of an explanation of how you get miracles from God.
00:07:37And you can clearly see
00:07:40that
00:07:43prayers over breakfast and lunch
00:07:45and the type of prayer I just used right now,
00:07:52that kind of prayer,
00:07:54dinner prayer,
00:07:56casual prayers,
00:07:58they're not going to get you miracles.
00:08:02You're not going to get a miracle.
00:08:07You have to
00:08:08crash through
00:08:12in order to get a miracle.
00:08:16Let me give you an illustration.
00:08:20And in fact, there's several examples in the New Testament
00:08:23where Jesus is illustrating
00:08:24the biadzo effect.
00:08:29And
00:08:30let me give you an example here real quickly.
00:08:34If you go over to
00:08:35Luke chapter 7,
00:08:37you're going to see an absolutely fascinating story
00:08:41illustrating
00:08:44the biadzo effect.
00:08:47B-I-A-Z-O
00:08:51is the Greek word.
00:08:53Verse 36,
00:08:54one of the Pharisees
00:08:55desired
00:08:56that Jesus would come have
00:08:58dinner with him.
00:09:02So Jesus said,
00:09:03yeah, I'll go over there.
00:09:04So he shows up
00:09:05with all the disciples.
00:09:07Well, this Pharisee was
00:09:09rich.
00:09:10He was like a TV
00:09:11preacher.
00:09:11He
00:09:13sucked people's bank accounts
00:09:16to dry
00:09:16and then skimmed off the top
00:09:18and then he
00:09:19had a very good life.
00:09:22What says Jesus
00:09:23sat down to
00:09:24meet
00:09:25to
00:09:26meet
00:09:27M-E-A-T
00:09:28meet
00:09:28well, the Greek word there is
00:09:30anaklino
00:09:31and it means to lay down.
00:09:34Back then
00:09:35people laid down
00:09:37to eat
00:09:38because
00:09:39for obvious reasons
00:09:41they walked all day long
00:09:42and when they sat down
00:09:44to eat
00:09:45everybody
00:09:45wanted to relax
00:09:47and very few homes
00:09:50had chairs.
00:09:51So
00:09:52Jesus would
00:09:53lay down
00:09:55along with the rest of them.
00:09:57You lay on your stomach
00:09:58with your elbows
00:09:59propped up.
00:10:01You lay on your side
00:10:02with your elbow
00:10:03propped,
00:10:04something like that.
00:10:05And so
00:10:06he's facing the food
00:10:07which is in the center
00:10:08of the room.
00:10:09Everybody's laying down
00:10:10relaxing
00:10:12and the food's
00:10:13in the center
00:10:13of the room
00:10:14is how they did it.
00:10:16And so
00:10:17the servants
00:10:18would stand
00:10:18on the outside
00:10:19of the
00:10:20circle
00:10:22of
00:10:22eaters
00:10:24so to speak
00:10:24and
00:10:26they'd watch
00:10:28the bowls
00:10:29and so
00:10:30when one bowl
00:10:31got low
00:10:32the servant
00:10:32would remove it
00:10:33and replace it
00:10:34with another one
00:10:35for the guests.
00:10:37That's how
00:10:38that's how
00:10:38they handled
00:10:39the guests.
00:10:40And it says
00:10:41in the middle
00:10:41of this
00:10:42meal
00:10:43right in the middle
00:10:44of it
00:10:45an uninvited
00:10:46person
00:10:47shows up.
00:10:48Behold
00:10:48a woman
00:10:49in the city
00:10:50which was
00:10:51a sinner
00:10:52that's the
00:10:54Greek word
00:10:55hermatolos
00:10:55it means
00:10:57someone who
00:10:58practices
00:10:59living in sin.
00:11:01My guess is
00:11:02she was a whore.
00:11:03and she
00:11:05it says
00:11:05when she
00:11:06knew
00:11:06that Jesus
00:11:08was having
00:11:10dinner at the
00:11:11Pharisees
00:11:11house
00:11:12she came
00:11:13down there
00:11:14and she
00:11:15brought
00:11:16an
00:11:18alabaster
00:11:19box
00:11:19and
00:11:23alabaster
00:11:26is the
00:11:27Greek word
00:11:28for
00:11:30a box
00:11:31that was
00:11:32used to
00:11:32contain
00:11:33precious
00:11:36perfumes
00:11:37myrrh
00:11:39things like
00:11:40that
00:11:40and
00:11:42prostitutes
00:11:43had very
00:11:44expensive
00:11:45alabaster
00:11:46boxes
00:11:47they were
00:11:49made out
00:11:49of ivory
00:11:50and they
00:11:52were imported
00:11:52from Egypt
00:11:53and
00:11:55these
00:11:56expensive
00:11:56perfumes
00:11:57were only
00:11:58used for
00:11:59the better
00:11:59paying
00:12:00johns
00:12:00the guys
00:12:02that had
00:12:03money
00:12:03got the
00:12:05special
00:12:05sex
00:12:05and the
00:12:06perfumes
00:12:07along with
00:12:09the session
00:12:10because they
00:12:10paid more
00:12:11money
00:12:12and it
00:12:15says she
00:12:15went around
00:12:16behind him
00:12:16and stood
00:12:17at his
00:12:17feet
00:12:18now remember
00:12:19he's laying
00:12:19down
00:12:20and
00:12:22she began
00:12:24weeping
00:12:24and the
00:12:28Greek word
00:12:28there is
00:12:29which means
00:12:32to wail
00:12:33the cruel
00:12:36is the
00:12:37Greek word
00:12:38that means
00:12:38to like
00:12:39quietly shed
00:12:39tears
00:12:40quietly pray
00:12:42and you're
00:12:43shedding
00:12:43watering your
00:12:46eyes
00:12:47you're
00:12:47dripping
00:12:48tears

00:12:49praying
00:12:50kind of
00:12:52quietly
00:12:52and respectfully

00:13:13whore comes

00:13:16and probably
00:13:18sees several
00:13:18of her
00:13:19clients
00:13:19and
00:13:22she's
00:13:22weeping
00:13:22and goes
00:13:23behind
00:13:23Jesus
00:13:24goes around
00:13:25behind him
00:13:26and she
00:13:27is wailing
00:13:28loud
00:13:29you can
00:13:31imagine
00:13:31the level
00:13:32of discomfort
00:13:32and the
00:13:34sense of
00:13:35feeling
00:13:37odd
00:13:37and the
00:13:39panic
00:13:39to be honest
00:13:40with you
00:13:41there was
00:13:41panic in
00:13:42that room
00:13:43because
00:13:44no prostitute
00:13:46no whore
00:13:47ever
00:13:47ever went
00:13:48to a
00:13:48Pharisee's
00:13:49home
00:13:49that was
00:13:50out of
00:13:50the
00:13:50question
00:13:51and
00:13:54there's
00:13:54no way
00:13:55anybody
00:13:56would have
00:13:56anything
00:13:56to do
00:13:57with a
00:13:57prostitute
00:13:59they were
00:13:59the second
00:14:00lowest
00:14:00on the
00:14:01rung
00:14:01of
00:14:01Jewish
00:14:02society
00:14:02the lowest
00:14:03was tax
00:14:03collectors
00:14:04that's the
00:14:06Greek word
00:14:07telonis
00:14:07it means

00:14:44quietly
00:14:45weeping
00:14:45she is
00:14:47on a
00:14:48crying
00:14:49jag
00:14:49she is
00:14:50causing
00:14:50a huge
00:14:51scene
00:14:54that's
00:14:56sent
00:14:57fear
00:14:58and
00:14:58awe
00:15:00through
00:15:01this whole
00:15:02house
00:15:02nobody can
00:15:04believe
00:15:04this woman
00:15:06showed up
00:15:06there
00:15:06it was
00:15:08it was
00:15:09like a
00:15:09miracle
00:15:10and she
00:15:11was wiping
00:15:12wiping his
00:15:14feet off
00:15:15with the
00:15:15hairs of
00:15:15her head
00:15:16now remember
00:15:16back in
00:15:17those days
00:15:17women didn't
00:15:18cut their
00:15:18hair
00:15:18and when
00:15:19they went
00:15:19out they
00:15:20wrapped up
00:15:20their hair
00:15:21in a big
00:15:21bun
00:15:22and then
00:15:22you pulled
00:15:23out the
00:15:23pin
00:15:24the hair
00:15:25would just
00:15:25fall down
00:15:26like a
00:15:27waterfall
00:15:27so she
00:15:28had long
00:15:29hair
00:15:29and she
00:15:31was using
00:15:31her hair
00:15:32to wipe
00:15:34his feet
00:15:35and his
00:15:36feet were
00:15:37dirty
00:15:37that's an
00:15:40important thing
00:15:40to remember
00:15:41later in the
00:15:41story
00:15:42his feet
00:15:43were dirty
