00:00All right. Now, wrestling business is about to change. You know, some might say the leading promotion has taken steps to anger some fans. This could open the door for AEW.
00:19And today, I'm going to be walking with Tony Khan, the owner of AEW, see what his plans are, as well as the Jacksonville Jaguars and their new stadium that he's building. So let's go for a walk. And of course, I got my body armor. His body armor hydrates this walk with Tony Khan.

01:04Big things going on with AEW.
01:07you know a lot going on with aew i really am excited to walk with you and talk with you it's
01:11been the first time we're doing this together walking but i've gotten to visit with you in the
01:15office before and i've always enjoyed talking to you but it's our first time doing it uh on your
01:21show i understand this is frank walk 721 yes it is 721 we're almost uh almost two full years that's
01:30awesome it's awesome almost two full years that's really cool well i've always wanted to do one with
01:34you and what you've been able to do is really impressive you've accomplished so much and i
01:39really appreciate you having me on and giving me a chance to talk about aew i think it's amazing
01:45what we've done in six years with aew we've been able to grow we've expanded we're in over 150
01:51countries now and we're doing really really exciting things in my opinion right now aw's having our best
01:58year ever in 2025 we've started doing shows on hbo max it's going to be our first ever pay-per-view
02:06this weekend on hbo max this saturday afternoon is aw all out it's the seventh annual all out we're
02:14going to be up in toronto it's going to be packed and it's going to be the biggest crowd for all out
02:18ever at the scotia bank arena and we've been doing great shows every year you can count on aw put on
02:26great pay-per-views this is actually going to be our first pay-per-view ever on hbo max this saturday
02:31afternoon but we've also got great tv week in week out this year on tbs every wednesday night
02:38and every saturday on tnt i think the quality of the shows this year frank has been the best it's
02:44ever been and since it's a big all-out pay-per-view week it's a perfect time for me to walk with you
02:50and talk with you thanks for doing it for me sure it's a pleasure you know you mentioned the pay-per-views
02:57and being on television being on tbs being on tnt and uh now you're going to be on max for your
03:05pay-per-views yeah man so we're talking that only like one or two sources where you can find your content
03:15makes it a lot more affordable for people who want to find your watch aw yeah absolutely i mean
03:21for me i have to say uh being on you know tbs there's a great tradition of wrestling on tbs
03:29just like a lot of the sports leagues for us with the nfl oh we got a car here we got to stop
03:34well for us with the nfl for example we have great partnerships that go back a long way and have great
03:41traditions and aw for us we've been able to tap into something really special because there's a
03:47great history of pro wrestling on tbs and tnt and i think it's really cool that and we're back walking
03:57again and uh i think it's really cool that wrestling on tbs and tnt goes back to the 1970s it's a great
04:05american tradition well that's how cable tv was built was built with tbs thank you i mean they uh did
04:11they put out the super station and it was george it was uh mid south georgia professional wrestling
04:18that first was the uh first like it's ham it's frank frank the tank how's it going
04:26thank you man and um so they uh they were one of the first programmers and it was uh you know some
04:35guy in the northeast saw that said that i could do that too well it's very exciting like you said i mean
04:40absolutely tbs the superstation one of the foundations of cable and a great tradition of pro wrestling you
04:49got uh wrestling going back to the 1970s i mean atlanta braves baseball andy griffith uh those are kind
04:57of some of the foundational shows on tbs and then tbs tnt for us to have aw on every week it's really
05:06really a huge opportunity to put us in not only in front of an audience that traditionally loves
05:14watching pro wrestling and sees the superstation tbs and tnt as great homes for wrestling but i think
05:21we put on great shows every week and this year they've been really consistent when we started we
05:27just had wednesday night dynamite and we do that every wednesday on tbs and it's still going we're
05:32celebrating our six-year anniversary next month and we've done over 300 episodes of dynamite and
05:40that wednesday night tradition that we built on tbs that is something that really has been to me uh
05:48the flagship the foundational show and then we've been able to do this year and i'll be
05:54very careful to mind the traffic laws of the city of new york while i say it is that saturday collision
06:03has been so consistent and awesome on tnt and there's that great tradition of turner having saturday
06:08wrestling and also aew when we started we were on tnt so to be able to bring collision on saturdays
06:16on tnt it's been really great and this year i think both shows week in week out it's the most consistent
06:23we've ever been hitting the quality of our pay-per-views is the best it's ever been i think to me
06:30the pay-per-views this year everyone has been excellent and also this weekend marks like a huge
06:37milestone for us because when we started we never dreamed hbo max would be the home for our shows for
06:43pay-per-views and our first pay-per-view ever on hbo max this weekend so i really appreciate you've
06:50given me the very coveted frank walks position this week especially such a great number of 721.
06:57i mean it's a great number it's a great accomplishment and but one thing i noticed
07:00is that you're trying to differentiate yourself by going back to some of the old blood of the ecw
07:07bringing that some of that back yeah thank you by the way it's a great accomplishment for you 721 frank
07:12walks but yes by you is a great accomplishment you're doing a great job and what you've accomplished
07:17here i think we should talk more about thank you for saying that about aw i mean we just did a great
07:23stand in philadelphia and we had so many great matches including one of the greatest hardcore
07:28women's street fights you'll ever see with sky blue challenging the champion timeless tony storm who i
07:34think is the top top star arguably in the entire sport uh and one of the really really important
07:42people in aew and i think one of the really important wrestlers in the world is timeless tony
07:47storm who transcends tv and uh the star stage and screen as well but also you have uh some of the
07:56matches some of the rivalries we really i'm excited to go into this big pay-per-view weekend after having
08:02spent three weeks like you said in philadelphia and the home of the hardcores as we get lapped here kind
08:08of i would rather talk about the uh uh things you've been able to accomplish and and mind you
08:15you know i don't want to put our cameraman in a dangerous position i think this is really impressive
08:20the way he films the show sean does a really great job doing it too shout out sean on these walks and
08:25matt for directing this thing 721 of these frank yeah it's almost it's almost been two full years
08:32uh i'm thinking about doing uh unless my plans change an als walk in belleville new jersey for uh
08:43the three-year under the start of year three the two-year anniversary that'll be the 27th of uh of
08:51september uh so uh i'll put out a flyer for that for people to look if they're interested in trying to
08:58join me on this uh walk uh to raise funds for als which is i imagine is i mean we look what it's done
09:06to the football community yeah man i mean steve mcmichael he was uh yeah ended up pro wrestling
09:12for a little while he was in actually yes he was and uh it was a very sad loss for the world of football
09:19and wrestling to lose a hall of fame nfl legend like steve mcmichael who was beloved also in the world of
09:24pro wrestling we did a tribute sean lost a shoe i'm sorry about that sean and but but but and and
09:32and i'm glad sean's good but that being said we did a tribute to the late great steve mongo mcmichael
09:38uh and it's very very sad that the world lost a great legend but there was a huge outpouring of love
09:44in the city of chicago at the aw event for steve mongo mcmichael uh it was great to have his wife
09:52and have his friends family supporting uh this tribute we put on and it was cool to have it on
09:58tnt on aw collision which is a home to steve mongo mcmichael he wrestled yeah on tbs and tnt where we do
10:06the shows he was a uh a nitro announcer too for a little while that's right he was on tnt and uh i think
10:12when the uh nitro first premiered he was one of the announcers he had his little tiny little uh uh
10:16uh chihuahua with him pepe that's right i mean uh i remember that little little tiny dog that's
10:24right absolutely very good recall frank has got an amazing recall for sports and pro wrestling uh and
10:32pro wrestling is arguably the only sport i think probably is the only sport that goes 52 weeks a
10:38year with no off season and when you think about that uh it really makes uh the life of a pro wrestler
10:46the life of uh uh as we uh cross our street here we're rotating back oh we're rotating back i see
10:54what i now that's what that's what matt was indicating there okay i see what i see what you're doing there
10:58matt uh is a ui so okay so like i said it's the only sport that goes like 52 weeks a year and uh i think
11:08that consistency first of all it helps keep people engaged because every wednesday on tbs
11:14and every saturday on tnt you know you can count on us to be there we've been on every wednesday on tbs
11:19for so many years week in week out we built a really great tradition and i think what you built
11:26here the consistency of doing these walks and the change you've seen and what you've been able to
11:31accomplish by doing something week in week out it's really impressive man the consistency you've shown
11:37and also the results are showing up for you too like look at what you've accomplished well thanks thanks
11:42it's very tangible and i think it's really cool so it's great uh synergies with us but also i think
11:49it's really dope what you do so i just well thanks and uh walk and of course you have some great events
11:54coming up you'll be in newark in november i will i will we've got aw full gear coming up in november

12:50afternoon pay-per-view for us what a lineup and the first aw pay-per-view ever on hbo max
12:57aew all out don't miss it it's going to be awesome like i said it's the seventh annual all out
13:03and i can't think of a better way to celebrate it than having the biggest crowd in all out history
13:09in toronto it's going to be a great well great wrestling tradition up there uh what is it uh uh
13:15maple leaf wrestling very good very good yes sir i love talking the history of sports and wrestling
13:20with frank uh and frank also a huge huge football fan uh yeah a fan of a team in florida that it but
13:28not the jaguars not the jaguars you know i see that you got some uh new exciting things coming to
13:34jacksonville we do this uh this uh this renovation it's going to be great it's going to be great the
13:40stadium of the future coming to jacksonville uh my dad and the city of jacksonville uh have come
13:46together and what the city's doing to support this it's amazing now it's going to be great if i'm not
13:51mistaken you're actually going to keep the same stadium you're just you're taking it to like the
13:55next century exactly the the city of my dad put together this great plan that's going to
14:01modernize the stadium we have uh my dad putting in funding and the city's putting in great support
14:07we're all coming together uh to make the city of jacksonville i think uh the greatest it's ever been
14:13and really to make the nfl community in jacksonville more exciting than it's ever been a lot of exciting
14:20things happening around the jaguars but one really cool thing is absolutely the stadium of the future
14:25which is coming uh and the work is going to be underway so it's really well maybe that keeps
14:32yeah hopefully get you know the super bowl to jacksonville well we'll see i don't know about you
14:36know and that was standing no matter what happens there even without that i think having an experience
14:44for the fans in jacksonville week in week out to be able to really enjoy the games and have a uh
14:51uh beautiful stadium that is truly top of the nfl that's what jacksonville deserves and is this if
14:58i'm not mistaken you're gonna get a roof on you right we'll have a uh like a roof shading and be
15:04able to really give fans uh that kind of uh protection from the weather and the elements but
15:11also uh some of the cool things being built into the stadium uh it's just going to be a first class game
15:18day experience all around so it's going to be really cool uh and right now it's a great game
15:23day experience i think with some of the greatest video screens in the nfl the great clubs it's
15:30still a great great mascot i think jack steville you're talking about him yesterday on the stream
15:35when he got stuck on the zip line yeah yeah all right well that being said i think it's going to be
15:42much deserved because jacksonville is a great community they support the team really well of course it's
15:47great football uh part of the country there's so much great football around florida uh i know you're
15:55a big dolphins fan frank and uh there's you know and i think it's cool even if even if we don't support
16:03the same team uh you know there's a lot of great football in florida i also like going to the college
16:09football around florida you know it's good to go check out the different teams i was just at uh miami
16:15university looks scary this year i was down there recently they have a great team a great program i
16:21i've been going down there a lot the last few years i think my great program mario christobal is a big
16:26wrestling fan did you know that no i did not mario christobal great coach great fan of professional
16:31wrestling i think miami university has found the right year to be special because the dolphins are
16:37a disaster so they could actually like really pump that stadium full i bet i can't speak to that but
16:45i think they've got great people there and uh and florida state's off to a good start they beat alabama
16:51uh well that's true and uh there's a lot of interesting things the gators uh have had not
16:58the fastest oh no no no hey but who did the gators lose to well let's say usf usf yeah so don't forget
17:07about usf usf they got a guy and uh check out the usf basketball program that's going to be building up
17:13pretty soon they got a great new coach in uh brian hodgson hodgson exactly so there's some really good
17:19stuff there and it was a great win for the hurricanes uh they got off to a great start
17:24versus notre dame and they continue uh to look like a top team so there's some interesting things
17:30happening in football in florida pro and college uh and frank so you're also a big uh person in the
17:37baseball community yep uh how is your baseball season going not good it's the mets have been a
17:43disaster since june they had such a good start that they've actually not relinquished a wild card yet
17:49but they're hanging on by their fingernails so you're still uh very very very closely following
17:55every aspect of it yeah yep that's good well you i know you get really stressed out during the
18:00games have you gotten better at controlling your rage and your temper from that shakes in his head
18:05no no no i i've broken a bunch of glasses this year i mean it's uh it's been a mess it's all right
18:15you know you don't know jacksonville was once home to the mets uh triple a team yeah that's true was
18:20it and so was that when it was the jacksonville suns yeah yeah okay now they're the jumbo shrimp
18:25i think the jumbo shrimp it's more lucrative and it was the 60s so you know who played uh
18:29you know who played in jacksonville for the mets who's that tom siever and nolan ryan that was
18:36would have been my first guess that's awesome that's really cool well that's really uh
18:40uh the pay-per-view again this weekend is toronto yeah and it's going to be a sellout in toronto but
18:46you're going to want to order it on pay-per-view it's the first pay-per-view hbo max on hbo max it's
18:51an afternoon show saturday afternoon you can also watch wednesday night dynamite every week on wednesdays
18:57on tbs we're on at 8 p.m eastern 7 p.m central every wednesday we simulcast the show on hbo max but
19:05we're on tbs we have been for years and we will be for years wednesday night dynamite on tbs and
19:12saturday's on tnt for aw collision and this saturday afternoon uh it's going to be a big one it starts
19:19at 2 p.m the tailgate brawl at 2 p.m you can watch that for free on tnt at 2 p.m and that's a one-hour
19:28show live in toronto on tnt at 2 p.m 1 p.m central live across the country 11 a.m
19:35pacific it's an early start time potential kegs and eggs situation going on for aw all out i would
19:42totally respect that if that's how you want to do the tailgate brawl if you want to get the kegs and
19:47eggs going 11 a.m i was perfect let's do it let's do it 11 you're welcome to come up to toronto and
19:53i'll get you a keg and an egg and it'll be uh 11 a.m pacific uh 2 p.m eastern time it'll be that
20:01noon mountain kickoff of course and you got the 1 p.m central that's the tailgate brawl and then at 3
20:07p.m eastern noon pacific 2 p.m central time start for the pay-per-view itself aew all out we're going
20:15to go all out it's going to be an awesome pay-per-view just like this was an awesome walk
