00:07Some 200 world leaders are flying into New York City at a time when global conflicts are raging.

00:18The brave men and women of the NYPD, FDNY and our federal partners will come together and ensure the safety of this city.
00:27In the back rooms of the UN, plans have been carefully constructed.
00:31We're in a heightened threat posture.
00:35We're obviously paying attention to everything that's going on internationally, domestically.
00:40We have an entire Protective Intelligence Division who monitors all those things that are happening.
00:46You know, for example, the terrible, horrible and unfortunate thing that happened last week with the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
00:53The basement houses surveillance equipment that will be crucial during high-level week.
00:58We are going into the security operations centre, which is the, you could call it, the nerve centre of our integrated security design here at UN headquarters in New York.
01:13Here in the security control centre, we have our CCTV operators and we have over 1,400 cameras.
01:20They will be monitoring these cameras 24-7 in real time.
01:26There'll be eyes everywhere, inside and outside the building.
01:30As you can see, we have a lot of tall buildings and whatnot.
01:34So they cover and they monitor the entire First Avenue area for as far as they can, all the way up to 51st.
01:44Snipers on the roof.
01:46Aim point, what we put is 9mm.
01:50And sniffer dogs checking vehicles entering the UN.
01:53Security will be especially high on Tuesday, September 23rd, when US President Donald Trump will be in attendance.
