The Falcons were restricted to 166 for 8, with Andries Gous and Amir Jangoo getting fifties, while Sunil Narine took one scalp to be the leading wicket-taker in CPL history with 130.
In reply, TKR reached 168 for 1 from 17.3 overs, with captain Nicholas Pooran smashing 90 not out off 53 balls, which means they are into the second eliminator.
