Trinbago Knight Riders got the better of Guyana Amazon Warriors last evening in Tarouba by six wickets.

In so doing, TKR extended their lead at the top.

The Amazon Warriors posted 163 for 9, with Shai Hope scoring 39.

In reply, TKR reached 169 for 4 in the 18th over, with Alex Hales and Colin Munro both registering half-centuries.

00:07And it was a poor start with the openers gone cheaply.
00:13Shea Hope would try to bring some respectability to the innings.
00:22It soon became 29-3 inside the power play, with Terence Hines sending Mohen Ali back

00:28That's 70-for-5 as Akhil Hussain ended with three wickets to put pressure on the opposition
00:33and Andrew Russell held on to three catches.
00:36Hope was out, hit wicket to Hines for 39, giving the bowler his second scalp, 109-7.
00:42Quentin Samson smashed three sixes in his 25.
00:50There was plenty of action in the final over, with the Amazon Warriors losing two wickets.
00:55And then captain Imran Tahir hit the final ball for a maximum, to take his side to 163-9.
01:07When TKR responded, they got off to a flyer courtesy Colin Munro and Alex Hales.
01:13The two were in a hurry to get home and were mainly dealing in boundaries.
01:16They brought up the 100 partnership in just nine overs.
01:23Their stand was worth 116 in 10.3 overs, which set the foundation for another two points.
01:29Imran Tahir got rid of Munro for 52 of 30 balls.
01:35Then he sent captain Nicholas Puran and Casey Carty both for no score in the same over.
01:40How about a fourth for Tahir later on, as Hales went for 74 of 43 deliveries.
01:47But Andre Mussel Russell provided the fireworks to see them home.
01:53He made an unbeaten 27, as TKR reached 169-4 in 17.2 overs to win by six wickets.
