00:00Across the country, various programs are being organized to mark Prime Minister Modi's birthday.
00:05As part of this, an attempt was made to set a new world record through a mega blood donation drive.
00:11Akhil Bhartiye Therapanth Yuvak Parishad organized 7,000 camps across India
00:17with the goal of collecting 3 lakh units of blood in a single day.
00:21The drive, named Raktadhan Amrit Mahutsav 2.0, is not only taking place in India
00:27but also in 70 countries worldwide in Delhi Union Railway
00:32and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav donated blood at Anuvrat Bhavan in ITO.
00:37Union Minister of State for Health Anupriya Patel and Mansuk Pandvia
00:41also visited the camp and praised the efforts of the Therapanth Parishad.
00:48Outside India, blood donation camps have been set up in Nepal, USA, UK, Indonesia, Australia, Dubai
00:55and several African nations.
00:57Notably, the Akhil Bhartiye Therapanth Yuvak Parishad
01:01already holds the world record for the single highest single day blood collection
01:06which was 2,50,000 units in 2022.
01:10This campaign has received full support from Prime Minister Modi
01:13as well as the Ministries of Education, Railways, Health, Sports and Youth Affairs.
01:19The mission behind this initiative is to ensure that blood banks never run short
01:25and that no life is lost due to lack of blood.
