00:00So you've done it the halfway again, but you're into another grand final. How's that feel?
00:04Oh, it feels really good, and to pretty much be doing it with the same girls from last year and coming,
00:09there's a handful of new girls that have come in, everyone's drilled really well together,
00:12and yeah, we're back on the big stage, so it's really good to get there again with everyone and just to be a part of this club.
00:19But you've, it's just been an incredible ride for you girls, you know, in the two years as a team,
00:26and now for your back-to-back titles.
00:28Yeah, it feels really good, like I just said, last year there was kind of only two teams within, like Lakes and ourselves,
00:35but this year the top five were all very close, so yeah, the competition's just getting stronger and stronger,
00:40and once again, just to do it with Maitland, such a good club here, so local and really good.
00:45And you're up against Northern Hawks, who ran you down in that, what was a tremendous final here.
00:52Yeah, it was, well, it was a good game, like let's be real, they've come from fifth place,
00:57they've come from the bottom, they've worked their way up, they've had their Knights juniors and stuff drop back into their side,
01:02they're quite strong across the park, and they've got a lot of talent.
01:05So, like I said, the teams from first to fifth this year were all really close, and it could have been anyone's game.
01:11What makes the difference on Sunday?
01:13I do think that we're more physical, you know, they've got a forward pack as well, but so do we.
01:19Our girls have been playing for quite some time, so it's been, you know, really good to have the numbers from 1 to 13 quite strong,
01:26and our bench, we've got Lulu coming back from, you know, Junior Sharks and all that,
01:30so I believe with the bench players coming on and off that we've got strength all across the park,
01:36so I think that makes a little bit of a difference between the two teams.
01:38And your dummy half is a pretty handy player, how proud was the team of Terry Lee getting the player of the year again?
01:46Oh, it was so good, like Tez was out with a broken arm for like eight weeks,
01:50and she still deserved, you know, to get that, so she must have got nearly every single 3-2 one point,
01:55but yeah, I probably wouldn't have given it to anyone else, so yeah, she's really good,
01:59it's the same with our other nine, you know, Maya, they both play, you know, similar football,
02:04they're both speedy and they know when to run, so it's really good.
02:06All right, and any final words for the Vickers fans?
02:10Everyone get there on Sunday and support us, we'd love to see you in the black and white.
02:14Excellent.
