00:0012 months on and you're back in the grand final. How does it feel?
00:04Oh, it's surreal actually. It's for getting two in a row now. It's good and for our season to be undefeated, it's definitely a special feeling.
00:13But yeah, it's rarefied. Every part of the club is setting records. It's an amazing time to be a picker.
00:21Yeah, absolutely. It's such a good time to be here too with all the changes and all that. I think it's helped our cause, the whole club's cause actually.
00:31So it's worked out well for us and we're just hoping we can put the cherry on the top and finish it at the end of the year.
00:37It really is a one club attitude at Maitland now, isn't it?
00:42Yeah, 100%. I know 95% of us boys, besides myself and I, get a little bit older now, but all the boys try to play first grade and obviously all the B grade girls and all those girls still want to play the highest level.
00:56So I think we've all got the same goal at the end of the day and it works in our favour.
01:00And it's remarkable though that players want to stay with the best. They're not tempted to go elsewhere.
01:06Yeah, well I think, not in a bad way. Like if you train with the best, you stay with the best, you make yourself better sailing.
01:13And at this club, it's the way it is at the moment. It's great to be a part of.
01:18Excellent.
