00:05dozen games and you look at it you have the Padres who has highlighted good team playoff team

00:10Nationals bad team but a team that's actually playing pretty well right now despite where it

00:15sits in the standings the Cubs good team again your Marlins probably in that company of of

00:21mediocrity but even still when you're talking about 12 games left and where they are right now

00:26in the wild card standings I mean realistically how many do they need to win to hang on to this

00:31playoff spot eight I think a lot of people are saying oh you know does seven five get you in

00:37my answer is a resounding no eight feels okay nine feels good and that's crazy to say but you've got

00:46a lot of teams that are getting hot and starting to clip their heels San Francisco Arizona it's not

00:52just the Mets against the Cincinnati Reds anymore you've got a couple of teams in the NL West

00:57that are really fighting right now and obviously the Mets are hoping that they can take care of

01:02business against San Diego but San Diego is a darn good team and San Diego is still playing for

01:06something as well they're playing for postseason positioning so I am curious to see how all of this

01:10shakes out the division that I'm watching as it pertains to the New York Mets it's not the Reds it's not

01:16the Central it's the National League West because you have three teams there that play a massive

01:21massive role in what you would have to say about this season and the Marlins you know I'm sure

01:27they would love to play spoiler at the tail end obviously Mets fans remember it well in 07 and 08

01:31you know the Marlins played spoiler as well as anybody in the history of that franchise in recent memory
