00:00All right, Red Sox-Yankees, Jack.
00:01Look, I know how this series is going to go.
00:04I'll check back with you in the ninth inning of Game 3
00:06when they get to that point.
00:07One team's up one run and one team's down one run
00:10because you know that this is going to be a fun competitive series.
00:12It's the only way it could go.
00:13Yankees will have Max Free tonight against Garrett Crochet.
00:16Total of seven.
00:18And you look, premier matchup, of course,
00:20when these two teams face off.
00:22Very close in records over the course of the season.
00:25So, I don't know.
00:27I'll flip a coin here.
00:28I think it comes right down to the wire.
00:30I was actually going to wait a little bit.
00:32You text me in the ninth,
00:33but I'm going to text you in the 14th of Game 3.
00:35Again, we go back to the normal extra innings rules.
00:37There's no place to run her.
00:39I mean, we're going to go deep in Game 3.
00:41The game that does fascinate me, if we get there, is Thursday.
00:46It's Cam Schlittler, the rookie right-hander for the Yankees,
00:48and then the Red Sox can absolutely counter with a rookie of their own.
00:51Is it going to be Connolly Early,
00:53who looked really good at the end of the year?
00:55So, you've got Crochet and Freed in Game 1.
00:57That is an ace off.
00:58Those are the two shiny new toys.
01:00Crochet, the trade acquisition.
01:01This past offseason, free, the $200 million free agent signing.
01:05And then you go to Game 2,
01:06the extended Brian Baio for the Boston Red Sox
01:09against another big-money lefty in Rodon.
01:11And then throw some stuff at the wall and see what sticks in Game 3.
01:15Are we going to see a whole bunch of rookies?
01:17Are we going to see Early and Peyton Toley for Boston?
01:20Bullpen advantage does go to Boston,
01:22as weird as that sounds with the big names that are in the Yankee bullpen.
01:24But don't sleep on Aaron Judge, as weird as it sounds.
01:28I know that he has this negative stigma attached to him in the postseason.
01:32But Aaron Judge can absolutely swing it.
01:35And, you know, the lefty Crochet certainly is a nice matchup for Judge in Game 1.
01:40I look at this Red Sox lineup against back-to-back lefties in Freed and Rodon,
01:44and I say, okay, how do you handle it?
01:46The answer is really well.
01:47They had a 740-team OPS against left-handed pitching this year,
01:51top-five team against lefties in all of baseball.
01:53So it seems like advantage Red Sox, but we just have no idea.
