00:00So DQ yesterday says he's truly day-to-day. We're going to run through all the markers.
00:05That's one thing Dan Quinn says a lot, is that you've got to hit all the markers.
00:10If you're the medical team with Jaden, what would some of those markers be?
00:15What do you want to see him do before you clear him to play?
00:19You know, in the short term, JP, you want to see the swelling go down, obviously.
00:24You want to see the muscles start to function again.
00:28Whenever you injure a joint, you're going to get inhibition of the muscles, meaning that they're not firing.
00:33And so we want to get those muscles fired again.
00:35We want to get the swelling down.
00:36And, of course, the range of motion should return.
00:40Now, at the level with the commanders, they've been using catapult systems with all of their athletes.
00:48So they have great baseline data on how fast each person runs, how they accelerate, how they decelerate.
00:55So what we can do now is use that data and have an athlete go through those same motions and see, when compared to his baseline, can he run, can he cut, what's his acceleration at.
01:07So it gives us one more data point to see where he is in his recovery.
01:12Obviously, psychologically, this is very important.
01:15He needs to be comfortable and confident in his knee, and he's going to be able to have to do football moves, cuts, throws, plants.
01:23So, you know, we're going to use – I'm sure they're going to use all the data at their fingertips to get him back on the field as soon but also as safely as possible.
