00:00Albania has appointed the world's first artificial intelligence minister, a digital assistant named Diela, in a bid to root out corruption.
00:08Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that Diela's role will be to make all decisions on public tenders.
00:13The government says this will make the process 100% corruption-free and transparent.
00:30This responsibility will be gradually removed from human ministers.
00:57The move comes as Albania tackles corruption, a key hurdle in its ambition to join the European Union.
