00:04in the latest massacre carried out by the country's criminal groups.
00:08According to Joseph Luis Baptiste, a local government official,
00:13only 42 people were killed in Labudri, including a four-year-old child and his family.
00:18Baptiste also said that the killings began over the weekend and are still ongoing,
00:23noting that the criminal groups set fire to Labudri
00:27and are now attempting to attack the nearby town of Acahey,
00:31while the police are trying to stop them.
00:33According to the official, the massacre was apparently triggered
00:37by the killing of a criminal leader known as Vladimir,
00:40a member of a coalition of criminal groups called B&SAN,
00:43which has looted several communities in Port France and other areas.
