00:00My name is Ha Dang. I live in Scunthorpe but originally from Vietnam and I am the reigning
00:12UK champion in Microsoft Excel. I found out about the competition back in February when I attended
00:19the global Excel conference and I saw four competitors from last year's Vegas final
00:26battling it out. I thought I could give it a try. I was fascinated by how they were using
00:33Excel formulas to extract data from a grid and I felt that I should give it a try. And
00:41I signed up for the UK chapter of the Microsoft Excel Championship. We had, throughout the
00:47summer, we had three monthly battles to find the 32 finalists and we had the final event
00:56in London last week on the 5th of September and I was crowned the winner. I'm going to
01:02keep myself sharp for the final in Vegas this December and in the longer term I would like
01:08to keep improving my skills in Excel so that I can perform my duties better at work and
01:14to inspire the next generation of Excel users to join the community, join the competition
01:20competition and make us even more popular.
