00:00On the Georgia Raid, sir, on the Georgia Raid, can you detail some of the allegations involved there where the workers, they're overstaying essentially B-1 visas? Can you tell us anything more about what-
00:09I'm not in the weeds now. I can tell you, I promise you from day one, we're going to increase worksite enforcement operations. That's exactly what we're doing.
00:16Just to be crystal clear, Tom, when is the National Guard going into Chicago and Boston?
00:22I didn't say they were. There'll be a decision that's made amongst those in that building, and we certainly probably won't give you a heads up it's happening.
00:32Look, it's all these- people need to understand. This is dangerous stuff we're doing, and we're not going to give and broadcast what we're doing, but National Guard's always on the table.
00:41They helped us immensely in D.C. They helped us immensely in Los Angeles, so they're always on the table.
00:48And as far as National Guard, they've helped every administration that I've been around since Ronald Reagan.
00:54They've helped every administration, whether it's mostly on the border, but a lot of 287G, a lot of National Guard's been given 287G training and have 287G ability.
01:04But National Guard are always on the table. That's the president's call.
01:08Is the president going to wait for a call for Chicago?
01:11I can't comment on what the president's going to do.
01:13Aren't you concerned that this is sending a wrong message to multinationals that are waiting to invest in the United States?
01:23You're going to invest in the United States, you've got to follow the laws like we do.
01:27Online. We've got laws on the books. Obey the laws. Is it going to affect? I don't know.
01:31But I think the president made it clear on his tweet that, you know, his message that, you know, you're going to come to this country, do business. You need to be legally doing it.
01:38Should we talk about the word we saw in Georgia?
01:41Yes.
01:42And where?
01:42I said from day one, we're going to increase worksite enforcement operations. I haven't hidden that.
01:46Where? I'm not going to talk where.
01:48But Tom, if you're involved in that investigation, said that some of those detained were, in fact, U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.
01:53So what does that say to foreign companies that are operating?
01:56First of all, I don't know that's even factual.
01:58This is according to Stephen Schrenk, a special agent in charge of public security and investing.
02:02Every, look, we do an operation that big. There are a lot of people, like a resident animal is supposed to carry, his resident animal carry one.
02:08So people are detained briefly while we figure out, okay, exactly who you, who are you and what right you had to be here.
02:14So, yeah, people are detained briefly, but once we get the documentation and proof of who they are, they're released.
02:19So I guarantee they weren't detained very long.
02:22Once they found out who they were and had proper documentation, they're released.
02:24That happens every law enforcement operation.
