Disney signed a deal with Spanish media group Atresmedia to bring its productions to Disney+ in Spain, according to Reuters. Starting this month, Disney+ subscribers will gain access to hit shows including “Casa de Papel”, “Veneno,” and “Gran Hotel” under the Atresmedia label. The agreement gives Disney+ co-exclusive rights to a wide slate of Atresmedia content, expanding its Spanish-made catalog. In July, Disney also struck a similar deal with Britain’s ITV to cross-share productions on their respective platforms.
