00:00I'm going against somebody who is so big in Malaysia, who have the power to just do anything, obviously, right?
00:07Am I not scared? Of course. I mean, let's be very, very true to ourselves, yes.
00:13But at the end of the day, right, I want to be responsible.
00:18I don't want to regret not saying the truth.
00:20Some critics say younger politicians like yourself should tone down when talking about more senior leaders,
00:27more bigger leaders, you know. What's your response to that?
00:32This is actually an attempt to silence me and muda as a whole.
00:39You know, like throughout my political career, it's always said that, you know,
00:45orang muda yang dalam politik ni kena sabar.
00:47Orang muda dalam politik ni jangan terlampau gopoh.
00:52It's always been said that way.
00:54Jangan melawan orang-orang yang dah banyak pengalaman, dah makan garam, whatever, right?
01:00I eat the garam also, okay?
01:01Yeah, exactly.
01:03But I wanted to say this. This country is ours.
01:06All right?
01:08We are accountable not just to ourselves.
01:12When I step into politics, when I step into this world full of these people,
01:17I know this is actually the challenge.
01:20This is a risk, the risk that I have to take.
01:24Kipu, eh? If I don't feel like, okay, what am I expecting?
01:28You know, I'm not going against somebody along the lane or whatever.
01:33You know, somebody who just stands behind that particular road or whatever.
01:36No.
01:36I'm going against somebody who is so big in Malaysia,
01:40who have the power to just do anything, obviously, right?
01:44Am I not scared?
01:45Yeah.
01:45Of course. I mean, let's be very, very true to ourselves, yes.
01:49But at the end of the day, right, I want to be responsible.
01:54I don't want to regret not saying the truth just because I'm intimidated this way.
02:01Yeah.
02:01All right?
02:01If this is the risk that I have to take, I would.
02:06Okay.
02:07Because at the end of the day, this is our country together.
02:11And if I don't do this, I will, so many others will not be able to do this.
02:19I must be the voice.
02:20We must be the voice.
02:21We must be the voice.
