01:19We begin with the news.
01:21Argentinian people say goodbye to the grandmother of Plaza de Mayo,
01:24Rosa Tarelovsky-Daroy Simlid, at the age of 106 years old,
01:28with an enormous work and career as a human rights referent in the country and in the world.
01:34Rosa Tarelovsky-Daroy Simlid was one of the founders of grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo,
01:39and central figure in the struggle for the identification of the children,
01:43kidnapped or born in captivity during the last Argentine civil-military dictatorship.
01:48Rosita, as she was also known, was born on August 15, 1990, in Moisés Ville province of Santa Fe.
01:56Her daughter Patricia was one of the 30,000 people kidnapped by the dictatorship that lasted between 1976 and 1982.
02:04While Rosa's daughter was never found, the child she birthed in captivity, Guillermo, was found in 2000.
02:11The grandmother of Plaza de Mayo declared Rosa Ruiz Simlid as its honorary president.
02:23Also in Argentina, the Ministry of Human Capital acknowledged that the audit Millet's government claimed to have carried out
02:29to justify the cessation of food assistance to soup kitchens does not exist.

03:47Demonstrators reaffirmed their solidarity with Venezuela,
03:50and demanded respect for the sovereignty of Latin America and the Caribbean.
03:57to the world and the international organizations of the United Nations,
04:04and the Security Council and the OAS,
04:08that they make prevail the international law of respect for the self-determination of the peoples,
04:16and the national sovereignty of each one of the nations.
04:20The United States and Europe and no nation,
04:23no matter how powerful it may be,
04:26should interfere in the internal affairs of any country.
04:29Venezuela, like all the nations of the world,
04:32has the right to determine what economic and political system it will build.
04:36And that is a decision of its people, of its nationals.
04:40It is a shame that internationally powerful nations are trying to undermine the sovereignty
04:45and self-determination of Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba, and other nations of the world.
04:58In this case, the Empire cannot tolerate a sovereign country deciding what to do with its own destiny.
05:03In the case of Venezuela, what we are talking about is the search for illegitimate ways, obviously,
05:10to appropriate the natural resources of Venezuela.
05:16That is why it is a moral duty to condemn the presence of the United States in the Caribbean.
05:23Condemn the military maneuvers in which the Caribbean is involved at this moment,
05:35and tell them that if they want to do something good for humanity,
05:38they should stop the genocide in Gaza,
05:41to solve their internal problems and allow the countries, in this case Venezuela,
05:45to decide their destiny in a sovereign manner.
05:48In Honduras, the left-wing Liberty and Refoundation Party, Libre,
05:56launched a massive rally on Saturday in the municipality of Trojes, in El Paraíso,

06:44Meanwhile in Brazil, Independence Day is celebrated on September 7th,
06:49commemorating the moment when the country declares independence
06:52from the Portuguese colonial empire in 1822.
06:55The demonstrations of the special day in Brazil's role on the world stage,
07:00especially through cooperation with the emerging powers of the BRICS group,
07:04are fundamental to the country's national identity and geopolitical influence.
07:09Patriotic Day, as it's also known, is a public holiday in Brazil,
07:14during which the country celebrates its freedom and cultural identity.
07:18In addition to the official ceremonies, cities throughout the country host various cultural events,
07:23concerts, folkloric dances and fireworks, reflecting the diversity and pride of the Brazilian people.
07:30In the context of the commemoration of Independence Day,
07:40Brazilian President Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva condemned those he described as traitors to the country on Saturday,
07:47and affirmed that there would be no room for foreign interference during his administration.
07:52The President's message was delivered during official radio and television address on the eve of Independence Day,
07:58in the South American giant.
08:00This speech was a clear rejection of the sanctions imposed by President Donald Trump
08:05against the Supreme Federal Court justices and the ministers of his cabinet,
08:10a retaliatory measure for the criminal trial facing former President Jair Bolsonaro for the 2023 coup conspiracy.
08:18President Lula's speech also targeted Brazilian politicians who encouraged attacks against Brazil,
08:23which he considered unacceptable.
08:25We are not, and will not be, a colony of anyone again.
08:37We are capable of governing and taking care of our land and our people,
08:41without interference from any foreign government.
08:44We maintain friendly relations with all countries, but we do not accept orders from anyone.

09:30In the United States, thousands of people gather in Washington, D.C.
09:33to protest against the Trump administration's military occupation of the U.S. Capitol,
09:38as well as the systematic harassment of immigrants orchestrated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE.
09:44Protesters raise their voices against arbitrary arrest, decriminalization of immigration and the authoritarian policies imposed by the government.
09:53They also demand an end to rights, respect for human rights and public policies that guarantee employment and decent housing for the most vulnerable sectors.
10:02It is worth noting that churches are raising their bells in support of the protest that is taking place from Malcolm X Park to Liberty Square.
10:11In August, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the deployment of federal agents and National Guard troops to confront what he described as a criminal wave.
10:19Since then, over 600 arrests have been made, many of them of undocumented people.
10:24Also in the United States, federal immigration authorities and ICE agents carried out another operation in a chocolate factory in northern New York.

15:55The number of people who have died of starvation rises to 382 amid the Israeli blockade of
16:01the Gaza Strip since October 2023.
16:04The Gaza Health Department has recorded six deaths from starvation and malnutrition in
16:08the last 24 hours, including one infant.
16:11As a result, the total number of deaths from starvation has reached 382, of which 135 are
16:18children.
16:19At the same time, Israel is preventing thousands of food products from entering the territory,
16:24including vital items such as meat, fish, eggs, fruit and vegetables as well as certain types
16:30of dairy products.
