00:10wildest predictions for the newest installment to the GTA franchise.
00:14With the release date of Grand Theft Auto 6 set in stone, for now, fans' imaginations are running
00:19wild, wondering what could be in store for the latest installment of the beloved franchise.
00:24Warning, there are spoilers for other Rockstar games ahead.

00:50GTA 5 is full of iconic landmarks, notable mansions, and many other eye-catching locations.
00:56Its rendition of Los Angeles is amazingly recreated, allowing you to explore locations in-game as if
01:02you were actually there. You can go to Rockstar's recreation of the Griffith Observatory or land on
01:07the runway of their version of LAX. But these iconic landmarks are just that, simply a place of
01:12reference. You can't walk inside the observatory or go into the massive airport. We have a feeling that GTA 6 will
01:24include lots of interactive interiors and environments throughout Vice City, allowing us to go inside
01:30iconic locations and be able to explore them to your heart's content. Exploring something like GTA's
01:35version of Cape Canaveral would bring player immersion to the next level.

01:45A More Serious Tone

01:53With the success of Red Dead Redemption 2, and the overall appreciation fans showed for its more
01:58serious tone, it wouldn't come as a surprise if Grand Theft Auto 6 has a more solemn atmosphere this time
02:03around. The connection players made with Arthur Morgan throughout his somber story stuck with
02:08players in a way like no other Rockstar character has before, truly making it feel like you were
02:13Arthur Morgan, living his struggles, his sins, his emotions, and of course, his redemption.
02:18It's safe to say developers are aiming to capture our hearts and minds in the same way with Jason and
02:30Lucia. But that doesn't mean that GTA will lose its satire that it's so well known for.
02:35We're expecting a fine balance of both a satirical and story-driven experience.

02:42Pop Culture and GTA 5 References
02:44There's two great evils that bedevil American capitalism, the type that you practice. Number one
02:50is outsourcing.
02:51Rockstar's 3D universe is ripe with pop culture references. Whether it's a satirical play on big
02:57tech companies, famous songs on the in-game radio, or even having fans call in to rant about the
03:02government and then literally making an in-game radio station featuring those calls.
03:06Oh, number two, offshoring your profits.
03:10One thing GTA does above all others is giving players something they can relate to and connect
03:15with, immersing gamers into Rockstar's digital worlds just that much more. We can be sure to see
03:20pop culture references from the past decade or so integrated to GTA 6.

03:36With the rise of social media and the influence it has across the world, it doesn't come as a surprise
03:41that some sort of social media will be featured in GTA 6. Actually, in the trailer for the game,
03:46it shows what seems to be Rockstar's version of Instagram.
03:49Well, look who's back.
03:52With the company's acquisition of CFX.RE, the maker of the popular modification framework 5M,
03:58we can expect to see a lot of features like in-depth phone and social media systems
04:03making their way to GTA 6 in an official capacity.
04:06The only way we're gonna get through this is by sticking together, being a team.
04:14Red Dead Redemption 2-style NPC interactions
04:19Yeah? What do you want?
04:21Do I look like a coward to you?
04:23Red Dead 2 was full of memorable moments, many of them being completely unscripted events that
04:28took place just by interacting with the world's inhabitants. Whether it was Les Moines Raiders,
04:33Theodriscolls, Bounty Hunters, or any of the game's other various factions.
04:38Hey there, pal. Can you help me?
04:43I could've used some help finding my way home. I can't make heads or tails of where I'm at.
04:51Interacting with these groups brought real results to the game. You couldn't just attack a gang,
04:55then run away, having that faction just forget about the whole situation like you could in GTA 5.
05:00They would remember what you did, and even hunt you down for it.
05:03Even the average townsperson would punch you in the face for talking to them the wrong way.
05:08It truly felt like it was the Wild West. We have a strong feeling Rockstar will add this feature
05:12into GTA 6, making for some truly Florida-esque moments. We can't wait to interact with GTA's
05:18version of the Florida Man.

05:23Roleplay-driven.
05:35GTA Online has enamored fans since 2015, making billions of dollars in revenue and still being
05:41updated to this very day. It's obviously a fan favorite and is sure to be implemented in GTA 6.
05:55If you go to any of your favorite video game streaming platforms,
05:58GTA is always one of the most viewed categories. But it's not because of GTA Online, it's because of
06:04GTA roleplay. Through a modification framework of GTA called 5M, made by cfx.re, players can live out
06:11their wildest stories using Rockstar's worlds, to be whatever or whoever they want. But unfortunately,
06:17it is only available on PC, since it's not supported on consoles. Rockstar has since acquired cfx.re as a
06:24company, which leads us to believe that roleplay elements will be present in a big way this time around.
06:29Upgraded NPC variety, density, and AI.
06:36Trust me, this place is just the start for us.

06:41The only thing that matters is who you know.
06:43One of the best qualities of Red Dead Redemption 2 was the interactions you had with the non-playable
06:48characters. The wild frontier that is Red Dead Redemption 2 felt so alive. NPCs would seemingly
06:54live an entire life, having daily routines like going to their specific job, and even
06:59hitting the saloon after to blow off some steam, before stumbling back home and doing it all again
07:03the next day.

07:16We predict that GTA 6 will be full of lively NPCs doing just the same, with even more depth and
07:21variety here. Whether they are running from the cops or mud bogging in a nearby swamp, from what we see in
07:27the trailers, NPCs will be in mass numbers and enjoying Vice City just as much as we are.
07:32The only way we're gonna get through this is by sticking together.

07:46In the trailer's release for GTA 6, so far, we couldn't help but to notice something about Jason.
07:52When picking up Lucia from prison in the second trailer, Jason seems to be recognized by the prison guard.

08:04When the guard on duty asks if he's seen him before, Jason replies with,
08:07you might have.
08:08He can also be seen wearing what seems to be a similar outfit to a scene from the first trailer
08:13that shows body cam footage of what looks like a raid, where one of the officers is seen wearing
08:18a similar getup with his signature backwards hat, only sporting a police vest along with it.
08:22We have a feeling that Jason may just be an undercover cop.

08:42Returning to Vice City for the first time in Rockstar's HD universe in GTA 6,
08:46it's almost guaranteed that some references from the city's 3D universe will make their
08:50way into the latest installation of the franchise,
08:53whether it's a nod to an old easter egg or even a Tommy Vercetti cameo.
08:56Mr. Vercetti, he's just got a touch of agoraphobia.
09:02After all, Vercetti did survive the events of GTA Vice City,
09:05and Rockstar loves to reference past characters in their games,
09:09like they did with mentioning Nico Bellic from GTA 4 and GTA 5.
09:13There was an Eastern European guy making moves in Liberty City.
09:18Or when CJ meets Claude from GTA 3 during a race in San Andres.

09:25The appearance of Tommy Vercetti would be great fanservice and a great nod to the original Vice City.
09:31Map Expansions Project Americas
09:37Early on in GTA 6's development, there were some seriously high ambitions for the project.
09:42One of those were to feature both Vice City and some locations in South America,
09:46possibly even showcasing other locations from past games, hence the name Project Americas.
09:51As reported by game journalist Jason Schreier, this idea was unfortunately cut,
10:03to avoid insane crunch time like there was with the development of Red Dead Redemption 2.
10:08We think these features could've possibly just been put on the back burner though,
10:12and just might come out as content over the years in the form of GTA Online as post-launch content.
10:17What better way to give fans of GTA Online they know and love,
10:21while keeping it fresh and having a striking difference from the original?
