00:00MIC Deputy Youth Chief Kay Kesevan attended the Bersatu Youth Wing's annual general meeting today,

00:07marking the first official invitation for his party amidst signs that Perikatan National is courting MCA and MIC to join them.

00:16He told FMT he attended the meeting following Bersatu's invitation.

00:21When asked if MIC might consider joining PN, Kesevan said the decision rests with the party president.

00:30MIC Deputy President M Saravanan also confirmed with FMT the party was invited to attend and that Kesevan was their representative.

00:40Also spotted at the event was Muda Central Executive Committee member Rahmat Amran.

00:48Yesterday, PN Secretary General Azmin Ali revealed that the coalition has held informal discussions with MIC and MCA.
