Do you attempt DIY projects in your home or would you rather pay someone else to do it? Have you ever had a DIY disaster or success story?

00:00I like to give anything a go. I think there's, I mean, there's some lines I would draw, like I'm not going to try and put a new sink in or something like that, but I'll paint a wall, I'll build some furniture, you know, I'll give most of it a go. Like I built a desk this year and I was very proud of that. That took me like three hours and I needed a drill. So that was like, you know, felt like a proud moment, but DIY queen.
00:25I tend to only take on board something that I feel I can confidently do as well as a tradesperson, basically. So I wouldn't do electrical, but if it was decorating, I'm very patient. I've spent ages preparing.
00:40I always fix my clothes or like mend my clothes if they like tear up or anything. So I don't kind of, I mean, I love DIY projects.
00:49You can botch things back together and they look great in the end. And also, you know, you've put all the hard work into doing them. So like you can live with it and you've not had to pay someone. You can pay someone and they can still do an awful job.
