Paris Jackson is slamming Colman Domingo for claiming she's "in support" of the forthcoming Michael Jackson biopic. Domingo, who is set to play Micheal's father Joe Jackson, told People magazine that Paris and her brother Prince Jackson are, quote, "very much in support of our film." The two-time Oscar nominee went on to note that he and Paris "chatted briefly" about Michael, and that she’s been "nothing but lovely and warm." However, Paris addressed his comments on her Instagram story writing, "[Colman Domingo], don't be telling people I was 'helpful' on the set of a movie I had zero percent involvement in lol that is so weird."

00:00Paris Jackson is slamming Coleman Domingo for claiming she's quote in support of the forthcoming
00:05Michael Jackson biopic. Domingo, who is set to play Michael's father Joe Jackson, told People
00:10Magazine on Wednesday that Paris and her brother Prince Jackson are quote very much in support of
00:16our film. The two-time Oscar nominee went on to note that he and Paris chatted briefly about Michael
00:21and that she's been nothing but lovely and warm. Paris addressed his comments on her Instagram
00:26story. She wrote, don't be telling people I was helpful on the set of a movie I had 0% involvement
00:31in lol that is so weird. She went on to say, I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my
00:37notes about what was dishonest slash didn't sit right with me and when they didn't address it I
00:42moved on with my life. Not my monkeys, not my circus. God bless and Godspeed. Paris later posted follow-up
00:49videos where she said of the movie, they're going to make whatever they're going to make. A big reason
00:53why I haven't said anything up until this point is because I know a lot of you guys are going to be
00:58happy with it. A big section, the film panders to a very specific section of my dad's fandom that
01:02still lives in the fantasy and they're going to be happy with it. While Paris isn't tied to the
01:06biopic, the Jackson estate is involved in the project. Plus, Jackson's nephew Jafar Jackson is
01:12set to make his feature film debut as the beat-it singer. The movie is slated to be released in
01:16theaters in April 2026. For much more on this story and all the latest news, go to THR.com.
