Adam and Eve were the first man and woman created by God in the Garden of Eden. God formed Adam from the dust of the ground and later created Eve from Adam’s rib to be his companion. They lived in paradise, where everything was provided for them. God gave them only one command: not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

However, a serpent tempted Eve to eat the fruit, and she shared it with Adam. After eating, they realized their nakedness and felt shame. Because they disobeyed, sin entered the world, and God banished them from Eden. This story explains the beginning of humanity, free will, temptation, and the consequences of disobedience.
