00:08Last year, Joe, the 49ers, a horrible team betting against the spread.
00:12One of the worst teams in the NFL.
00:13They fell completely flat, but allegedly pretty healthy going into the season.
00:18Although, again, their wide receiver, Jawan Jennings, has had some issues.
00:21Ayuk, of course, is hurt, and he's out.
00:23McCaffrey, we believe, to be healthy going into the year.
00:25They're laying two-and-a-half points on the road.
00:27Total, 43-and-a-half common thread this week in the NFL.
00:31We are seeing some very small road favorites this week.
00:34Are the 49ers one of those to back?
00:37No.
00:38I actually like Seattle in this game.
00:40And I'm going to tell you, look, Ayuk, not going to be playing, right, for a couple weeks.
00:44Jawan Jennings wants to be traded.
00:46I think that, you know, you're looking at Christian McCaffrey, who didn't play a single snap in the preseason.
00:50I get it.
00:51Some guys did not.
00:52But for Christian McCaffrey, I think it was important for everybody to see how healthy is he really.
00:56And normally you would see him for a series or two when he was healthy.
01:00So I think it's a really bizarre pick here where everybody seems to be on the 49ers.
01:04A lot of the money is coming in on there.
01:05But I don't think people give the Seattle Seahawks defense enough credit.
01:09It is in Seattle and they're building underdogs at home.
01:13Give me Seattle with the points here on this one.
01:15Because I just feel like, despite the fact that there's offensive line issues in Seattle, the one thing they're going to be able to do is run the football, control the clock a little bit.
01:21And if you can run the football effectively on the 49ers, don't give that offense a whole lot of time to operate and then play good defense, which I think they're capable of doing both of those things.
01:30I think the Seattle Seahawks are in a spot here where they could even upset the 49ers.
01:34We see this every single week, right?
01:36Week one, every year.
01:38This always happens where we say, oh, well, 49ers, whatever, they're just going to go in there and they're going to, you know, take care of the Seattle Seahawks.
01:43Why?
01:44Why do we think that?
01:45Seattle was a pretty darn good team last year.
01:47And that defense came a long way year over year.
01:50So, again, Seattle had a perfect football team.
01:52But I think home underdogs week one, I think this is one of the biggest trap games you're going to find on the slate.
