00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Thursday morning. Yet again we have
00:04some heavy torrential downpours out there with the risk of thunder and lightning. In
00:10fact we do have a weather warning for thunderstorms through this morning into this afternoon.
00:14Anywhere from eastern and northern England and the Midlands down towards Wales. But we
00:18will see showers either side and with that the risk of thunder, they'll be slow moving.
00:24And with those we're likely to see a little sunshine in between. There's a cluster this
00:28morning moving across but as we head through to Friday, a better start to the day for many
00:34areas as high pressure just pushes up from the south influencing our weather through Friday
00:39and in fact into the weekend before all change yet again. This morning if you're stepping out
00:44cloudy across Shetland with a keen breeze. A few showers across the north and the west
00:48of Scotland running down towards the western side of Northern Ireland. Notice a few showers
00:53also southern Scotland as well as northern England and then this area of showery rain extending
00:58from central southern parts of England and Wales towards the Midlands. It's heavy in
01:03places here. Sporadic yes but the risk of thunder and lightning as we head through the morning
01:08into the afternoon. And if you catch a heavy shower it will be gusty as well with perhaps
01:13even the risk of hail. Pushing ever northwards through the morning into the afternoon. Some
01:18brighter skies to start the day central and eastern areas of Scotland, eastern parts of Northern
01:22Ireland, the far north of England. But notice this showery rain does push towards these parts,
01:28some heavy downpours problems on the roads through the morning into the afternoon and then later
01:32just the scattering of showers with a little sunshine coming through. Temperatures then 18
01:37to 21 degrees Celsius a keen breeze down towards the southwest and a brisk one towards western parts
01:42of Scotland as well as Northern Ireland. Now as we head through this evening and overnight yet again
01:48there'll be a few showers in the mix. Again we'll see quite a strong wind across more southern counties
01:53and across western Scotland which will deliver a few showers. But in between some clearer skies
01:58overnight a bit of a cooler night. And as we head into tomorrow morning a few showers just lingering
02:05towards western facing coasts. They'll be fairly light. Most places seeing a bright start with some
02:11sunshine the cloud could build through the middle part of the day. A few scattered showers through into
02:15the afternoon and more cloud arrives across the far northwest of Scotland later with a little
02:20showery rain. So temperatures through tomorrow. It's going to feel pleasant because the winds will
02:26be lighter and there'll be more in the way of drier weather around so 19 to 22 degrees Celsius.
02:32Warmer still on Saturday but the winds will pick up across the western side of the country.
02:38There's a small chance of a shower but most places will see that. Fine weather, a mix of cloud
02:43and sunshine all change then as we head into Sunday and the beginning of next week. For more details check out
02:49our 10 day trend and I'll see you again soon. Have a lovely day.
