00:16about to embark on yet another mission,

00:18the 38th attempt

00:20to, by sea,

00:22try to break Israel's illegal siege on Gaza

00:24and open up a humanitarian corridor

00:26to deliver humanitarian aid.

00:28This should not have to be up to us.

00:30A mission like this should not have to exist.

00:32It is the responsibility

00:34of countries, of our governments

00:36and elected officials to act

00:38to try to uphold international law,

00:40to prevent war crimes,

00:42to prevent genocide.

00:44That is their legal duty to do

00:46and they are failing to do so

00:48and thereby betraying Palestinians

00:50but also all of humanity.

00:52I'm not scared of being detained.

00:54What I'm scared of is

00:56how rapidly

00:58the world is slipping in

01:00further into fascism

01:02and racist ideologies,

01:04further into oppression, inequalities,

01:06climate disaster, environmental degradation.

01:08Our plan B

01:10if Israel once again

01:12decides to violate international law

01:14and prevent humanitarian aid

01:16from getting into Gaza

01:18from getting into Gaza.
