CTP (20250830 S3E115) AARP Deceptive TV Ads (about Social Security) BTS Video
Transcript
00:00Welcome to the Constitutionalist Politics Podcast, aka CTP.
00:07I am your host, Joseph M. Leonard, and that's L-E-N-A-R-D.
00:12CTP is your no-must, no-fuss, just-me-you-and-occasional-guest-type podcast.
00:19I really appreciate you tuning in.
00:22As Graham Norton will say, let's get on with the show!
00:25Hello, gang! Welcome to Season 3, Episode 115 in the Saturday Monologues Numbering Scheme
00:38with mid-week guest show drops and specials, as they're called,
00:47while around 250 total episodes since 2023 when I started.
00:56I don't do Monday through Friday. I do usually Saturday monologues.
01:02Occasionally, a guest will appear on Saturday, too, and mid-week drop specials,
01:08usually Wednesday, sometimes a Tuesday, Thursday.
01:11In the case of back in February, health weeks, there were several drops.
01:19In the case of going back to, was it March, I think?
01:24Music weeks, I did Monday through Friday for three weeks.
01:30So, it all depends on the specials, but more than 250 episodes.
01:35At any rate, I didn't bring you here to talk about that.
01:38But, TV ads, right?
01:41I mean, I'm not talking the Sydney, if you saw last week's episode, right?
01:48That's not Sydney on my book.
01:50I talked about Beauty and the Eye of the Beholder last week.
01:55The TV ad, Sydney Sweeney has great genes, kind of helped formulate.
02:01I'm not talking about commercial ads like that to sell you a product.
02:06I'm talking AERP.
02:11Have you seen the ad about Social Security?
02:15Right?
02:16Starts off, politics is divisive and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
02:22But we can all agree on Social Security, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, followed by a lie.
02:30No, we do not all pay into Social Security in regards to people who are currently collecting Social Security.
02:45Social Security, and I've done a show on this before.
02:48I'll probably do one again, and of course, go to beforeitsnews.com and sub-stack.
02:54I've got several pieces on Social Security.
02:58The reality, not like AERP is a leftist organization and this, why they support leftist politicians who support illegals who have not paid into Social Security,
03:18collecting Social Security, and all the amount of fraud in the system that doge, and one good part of the one big beautiful bill, I called it the one big fraud bill, it's still pork-laden.
03:36All kinds of pork, yes, it had to pass for the good things, but please spare me.
03:42All kinds of pork still in there, still near a $2 trillion deficit for the year, and the debt going to soar to over $40 trillion, possibly $45 trillion by the end of Trump's terms.
03:57Sorry, not sorry, ideal in reality.
04:01He never vetoed a single spending bill in his first term, and there's no threat he'll veto any of them now unless Democrats take control of the House and the Senate in 2026.
04:17Then he might finally, finally threaten to veto a spending bill because it will be the Democrats that put it together.
04:26But the one big fraud bill, which still contained some of Biden's Inflation Production Act spending, still in there, he was eager to sign it.
04:39More green new scam spending that not one Republican voted for the bill, extending of that spending, still in the one big fraud bill.
04:50He's eager, he was eager to sign it.
04:52So spare me, right?
04:55Growth policy, yes, needed, good.
04:58Tariffs, bringing in money, yes, but it's still the spending, stupid.
05:04Growth alone didn't work under JFK with tax cuts and growth.
05:10Reagan, GW, Trump's first term, and growth policy alone won't work now.
05:18But, again, that's not what I'm here for.
05:20Social Security, no, everyone collecting didn't pay into it.
05:27Now, we have to take a pause.
05:30This is a Christian show, constitutionalist politics.
05:35We believe in wanting to take care of widows and orphans.
05:41Yes, yes, so not everyone on Social Security has had to pay in.
05:49My mother never worked a day to pay into Social Security.
05:58She was a stay-at-home mother.
06:01If that can happen, that's a good thing.
06:04A stay-at-home mom, stay-at-home dad, whatever.
06:07After, spousal benefits, she didn't pay in.
06:12She got Social Security.
06:14She got dad's survivor benefits, and then, well, yeah.
06:25I'm sorry, I can't talk.
06:27She got dad's survivor benefits when he died.
06:31She then still collected less Social Security than they got together as a married couple collecting Social Security under his years of paying in.
06:44Right?
06:46If a child's parents at age eight die in a car crash, we want that child to be taken care of.
06:57They haven't paid in.
06:59They may pay in later after they turn 18, or they may never pay in.
07:06Or someone born with birth defects to a point that their disability means they're handicapped and have a hard time finding work, may never find work, they may never pay in.
07:23Do we want them taken care of?
07:25Yes, we do.
07:27So, AARP and your ad, lie.
07:33It's not all about those and only about those who pay in, but it sure as hell, sorry, gonna say it again, sure as hell ain't for non-citizens.
07:47Who paid in or not, you're a non-citizen.
07:51Social Security was created for U.S. citizens.
07:57So, spare me, AARP.
08:01We can all agree on Social Security and the need to preserve Social Security.
08:07Yes, we need to preserve it.
08:09You block preservation efforts during Reagan.
08:16You block them during GW.
08:19You block them during the Trump first term.
08:22You're still blocking them now during Trump's second term to remove illegals from the program who are not entitled to it.
08:33To get rid of the fraud.
08:36People, again, if you go behind the scenes video, Bitchute, Brighteon, Daily Motion, Rumble, YouTube, I know for sure there's a Social Security segment video there.
08:51People on the books age 300 collecting Social Security, and that's not either, okay, potentially an error.
09:03Maybe the birth date is wrong.
09:05It's not onerous to then demand someone who's collecting Social Security that the database says it's 300 years old.
09:19In 90 days, you're cut off under fraud, waste, fraud, and abuse Doge efforts unless you provide a birth certificate.
09:32So we can then know how old you really are.
09:36If you're a legitimate legal person at age 89 and should be collecting, show the birth certificate.
09:47We'll correct the records, and you'll keep collecting your Social Security.
09:52There's nothing overly demanding in that a fraction of a percent of those collecting Social Security show proof they should be collecting Social Security.
10:08The left always protecting waste, fraud, abuse, putting illegals on something they're not entitled to, like Social Security or welfare.
10:24You're not entitled.
10:26You're not a citizen.
10:29And I'm getting beyond sick and bleeping tired of this stuff.
10:35So, no, AARP, we don't all agree on your left-wing delusional answer to everything.
10:44Oh, let's just raise the Social Security tax.
10:48We don't need to raise the FICA, which includes Medicare and Social Security in the FICA.
10:56We can reform the program to get illegals and fraudsters off it, and the program will be then, what's the term, not solid, solvent, solvent, right?
11:16That's the word, for more decades.
11:19And also, means-testing.
11:23My dad was a former GM.
11:28He had a pension.
11:30Why should someone who's got a good pension collect the same Social Security as someone who didn't have a chance,
11:41you know, perhaps only worked minimum wage jobs their whole life, didn't have a chance to build a 401k?
11:48Sure as hell didn't have a pension provided to them, and they are solely dependent on Social Security.
11:58Means-tested.
12:00My mom and dad shouldn't have got as much as the next-door neighbor.
12:06Or, this is a story, right, but a neighbor who may have worked only a minimum wage job their whole life and is now a senior and solely dependent on Social Security,
12:20they should get more, and my mom and dad should get less.
12:25And a millionaire who's had plenty of time to save all kinds of money, probably has both a pension and 401k revenue coming in, should get less.
12:37And it can adjust.
12:41If you get a pension and the pension goes away, then, okay, your Social Security readjusts up some.
12:49If you had a 401k and it goes dry, then your Social Security can go up some.
12:55But if you've got other revenue coming in, that's completely different than the whole concept of Social Security as a safety net.
13:11You have no other income.
13:13You have no other way to sustain yourself.
13:20But the left refuses to deal in the reality of why and how the program was created and exactly how easily we can solve it without raising anyone's taxes.
13:36But AARP, the people they support, the people they donate to, like Schumer, the answer is always steal more money from people to give to other people.
13:51It doesn't need to happen.
13:55I've laid it out very simply.
13:58The simple math that saves Social Security.
14:01First and foremost, get people who are not entitled to it off.
14:08And then also means testing.
14:12Simple, basic means testing.
14:15Do leftists love tax the rich, tax the rich?
14:19Then why should a rich person who may have a billion dollars of other income coming in a year still collect Social Security?
14:32By your usual definitions, they don't need it.
14:38They don't deserve it.
14:40They've got to pay their fair share.
14:42In this case, they paid in, so they are entitled.
14:49They have to get something.
14:51But by law, it doesn't have to be the same amount someone who has no other income coming in.
14:59We can means test it.
15:00Okay.
15:01At any rate, I apologize.
15:04I was more savage than filtered Raging Joe today on Chris DeTutio's podcast, my usual G-rated show here.
15:15And I try to be a lot more calm, right?
15:18You kind of got savage than filtered Raging Joe today.
15:22Maybe, I don't know, should I put a PG-13 warning on?
15:26I only said hell a couple times, right?
15:29If that's a problem for you, then you've got a whole lot of other problems to worry about than my having said that, right?
15:40Sometimes a word like that's got to be tossed in for emphasis.
15:46At any rate, thank you all.
15:50Take care.
15:51God bless.
15:53Can we please use our brains?
15:55You independents who fall for the leftist idiocy and vote for them.
16:04Can we vote?
16:06Can you please finally vote for people who are offering solutions that work, not just steal more money from people?
16:19Answer, the left always has.
16:23Take care.
16:23God bless.
16:25Thank you for having tuned in for a Chris DeTutio's politics show.
