00:00How difficult is it not to push yourself too fast because you're dying to get back on the pitch?
00:04Yeah, it's hard. You always say to the coaches after playing 45 or whatever,
00:09like, can I play on a bit longer? Because you want to play as much as you can.
00:13But at the same time, you have to be a bit careful and realise the situation you've been in.
00:21And just, as I said, you have to be patient and just accept where you've been.
00:26And I've not been in that position before, so it's something new to me.
00:30But you just have to accept it and move on.
00:34Steve Clarke is the boss. He's been there for a number of years now.
00:36He's really close with a lot of the team. You can see there's a real bond there.
00:40During the time that you were out and obviously the disappointment of missing out on the tournament
00:42because it's something that wasn't really your fault, what did he say to you?
00:46Has he kept in touch with you during your rehabilitation period and kind of kept an eye on you?
00:51Yeah, he's been really good.
00:53And he's called me a few times and texted me, asked me how I've got on.
00:59And not just Steve Clarke, but also the other Scotland coaches.
01:07But yeah, it's good to hear from the gaffer and just checking up on me.
01:12It gives you an extra boost to come back.
01:15It's a World Cup year. Obviously, that's a massive aim for Scotland.
01:17What's your aims for Scotland, not just this year, but for the future ahead?
01:23I'll play as many games as I can.
01:25Get as much caps as I can.
01:28And that's why Nipoller wants to just play as much as they can for their country.
01:32Hopefully I can gradually get back in.
01:36And yeah, we'll see.
01:39We'll see you next time.
