00:09on the side of the house here when they got here they forced entry there was information that
00:14someone does live here so unaccounted for firefighters entered the structure wearing
00:18breathing apparatus pretty intense hot smoke conditions they did locate the room that was
00:24on fire they've knocked that down and they also unfortunately found an occupant that couldn't
00:29be revived took about half an hour to get this fire out and contained we then spent some time
00:35clearing the building of the toxic smoke the carbon monoxide and also making sure there was no fire
00:41extension particularly up in the roof void we've now got investigators from Fire and Rescue NSW on

00:59fires that we're not too sure the cause of particularly fatal fires just as part of our comprehensive
01:05investigations at this stage there's nothing to indicate there's any foul play or anything mischievous
01:11that's happened here but the investigations will continue a very thorough investigation so we can one
01:17get some answer for the family and the loved ones of the person that has died in the fire and also
01:25for our ongoing research so we can continue to build community safety and messages around safety and
01:32always the first one is working smoke alarms there is a smoke alarm fitted in this home but there's
