00:00So I'm Nicola Gemmell-Moyer and I'm the founder of Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight.
00:05It's a two-week celebration of the city's best bars.
00:09Guests can buy a wristband, they'll get exclusive menus in 65 plus bars everywhere from House of Gods,
00:17Seb's, Cece's, Spiritualist, The Absent Ear, The Gay, Lunar, Locale, there's so many.
00:24It's really a great celebration and it's got the city's best.
00:28We created the festival in 2018 to champion Glasgow's trade, best bartenders and delicious cocktails.
00:38So join us in September for two weeks of non-stop cocktail fun.
00:43So this is the House of Gods and we are making the sweetest sin for the Glasgow fortnight.
00:49What's in this cocktail is a shot of Bwemurangi.
00:55Start with that.
00:55Pizzol Cure as well, put that in.
00:59A single shot of lemon, double shot of passing fruit puree, and then a double shot of sugar syrup.
01:14It's then shaken up.
01:28Let me top the glass up with some ice.
01:30Served with a slice of orange, sweetest sin in the House of Gods.
01:49We've kind of came up with a few cocktails throughout the fortnight as well, so we've got two other ones on the menu.
01:54And this is probably one of the most popular ones.
01:57It's just got so many incredible bars doing great things and they really know their cocktails and we wanted to create a festival that champions that.
02:05We've also got so many great events that put bartenders at the heart of that.
02:11So our expert-led masterclasses to unusual cocktail events and venues.
02:17So you can buy a wristband, our early words are £5 and they unlock exclusive menus in 65 different bars or you can buy a ticket to a masterclass or one of our cocktail events.
02:32We've got a MAC make-up one, which is four pro-make-up artists giving you tips and tricks, champagne Piaf and a cocktail.
