DMW, OFW Hospital, PH Pharmaceutical firm partner to ensure faster access to medicines, supplies

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Overseas Filipino Workers' Hospital sign a partnership with the Philippine Pharmaceutical Procurement Inc. (PPPI) at the DMW head office in Ortigas on Aug. 26, 2025 to ensure faster and steadier access to medicines, medical equipment, and hospital supplies. The agreement will transfer about 70 percent of the hospital’s procurement to PPPI, allowing the facility to focus more on patient care. The deal also opens the way for a pharmacy and vaccination center by 2026 and a planned medical waste reduction facility, the first of its kind in a public hospital.
