Almost 500 residents, young and old, were blessed with free denture extractions, toothpaste and medicine, check-ups, and reading glasses during a medical mission held this Sunday and Monday, February 22 and 23, 2026. in the island of Burdeos, Quezon Province.
The charity mission was led by Go-Share Philippine, a Non-Government organization led by Founder Noel Gonzales.
He is joined by other NGOs, including CUB foundation, Raymond transport, Dr. Armie Artillaga Dental Station, Mayantoc Dental, Dr. Arvin Villegas DMD, Sybels, Federation Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce, United News, Airport Press, SuperSale, P&G, Seso Marketing Bay Area Global Outreach, PR-360 Inc. Bell Kenz Pharma,Century food RSPO, AFP, and Municipal of Burdeos is led by Mayor Gina Gonzales.
The beneficiaries, who are residents from seven Barangays in Burdeos, find it difficult to get medical treatment, particularly dental treatment, because there is no dentist at their town and if the have the patient difficulties and they have to travel to nearby towns or Metro Manila to the dental medications.
Go-Share goes to other islands that are far away and difficult to reach with government assistance.
According to Mayor Gonzales, they are making requests to the Department of Health but their schedules are simply difficult to get to the Island.
Mayor Gonzales is very grateful to this NGO, s because despite the long and difficult journey to their home from Metro Manila and neighboring provinces, they're are able to find a way to reach and provide a similar project in her town. (via Ariel Fernandez | MB)
