DOJ Releases Ghislaine Maxwell Interview Transcripts On Trump And Epstein Case

Ghislaine Maxwell told Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche during a July interview that Trump never acted inappropriately with anyone in Epstein’s orbit, according to newly released transcripts. Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence, denied knowing of any wrongdoing by Trump and dismissed claims of Clinton visiting Epstein’s island. She also rejected the official suicide finding in Epstein’s death. The Justice Department released the transcript and audio on Friday, amid criticism of Trump’s administration for withholding Epstein-related files. Trump dismissed the DOJ’s refusal to release Epstein files as a Democrat-created “hoax,” while many Republicans in Congress continue to demand their disclosure.
