00:16this is all my gear right now that you can see what I'm holding right now is my main one for

00:22with drop a sharp it's an Ernie ball silver burst four string you know single humbucker music man

00:29I got this last January of this year and it's been awesome you know I've been repping the Sterlings

00:36for quite a while since we started the band but right now I actually got an Ernie ball endorsement

00:40and they gave me some good stuff and this is it it has it has a black pick guard and some black you

00:48know toe knobs and volume knob and mostly everything it's kind of messed up now because I've been

00:53beating the shit out of it there's there's already like battle scars on the side but you know it's

00:59good I need to get more basses the strings I'm using beefy slinkies 61 30 65 they're all great

01:08when also we only recording the album we use the same gauges you know beefy slinkies I always want

01:14to put my volume all the way up I had this bootleg parallax because neural has not released the parallax

01:22yet so we made our own bootleg parallax I put all my treble all the way down put my bass in the

01:27middle and then uh my mids all the way up so and you know there's like different um uh pedal effects

01:37that I use it's on on my quad right there so yeah this is for where uh drop a sharp I play with fallout

01:42uh like you know goner staying and some of the most famous sleep clear songs uh paralyzed and you name

01:50it so this one it's a P bass um it's kind of messed up right now I'll have it clean in a minute

01:56it is a Pete Wentz uh sterling model Pete Wentz if you don't know it's from fallout boy the bass player

02:04for fallout boy uh has a volume knob and a tone knob really nice bass I really love playing with these

02:09this is set up on drop D uh I only play this for one song it's all it's called parasite you guys

02:16probably know it and uh yeah it has a uh really a bronze kick guard which is very beautiful there's

02:25a lot of battle scars took this to the airport one time they messed it up uh I don't really care anymore

02:31it rocks our life sometimes you get they mess with your guitar you just gotta accept it

02:37oh yes this is a regular slinky or drop D but uh you know what's the best part is look at the octave

02:44uh the duck that's what I'm paying for this guitar is that duck uh yeah also like all my straps are

02:53all Ernie ball because they're very comfortable with the cloud padding and uh yeah with the strap locks

03:00it's uh scholar scaffer scaffer or something I just I we just bought them and they they look very

03:08tight so they never let us down and this one one of my favorites my first bass uh our producer Dave

03:16gave me um cool fact we recorded stuck in my head on this bass um and stuck in my head stuck in my head

03:24went number one on billboard and on radio so this means a lot to me it's a five string subseries sterling

03:32um i don't know it's just it's some people will say it's just like a regular five you know five

03:38string bass but this space is a powerhouse for me i played all the drop g drop g sharp uh

03:47uh songs we have including threes stuck in my head gravity you name it um yeah it has thicker strings

03:57and uh for this one i use the power slinkies it's a 135 250 um yeah it's great the thicker the strings

04:08the heavier it gets of course and yeah this means a lot um if there's one thing that i want to frame

04:15in my house it should be this guitar this this means a lot this is sleep theory it's for me so come

04:22ony this is the best part of the day it's showing all my presets on my quad

04:30oh gosh i'm getting out of here

04:35okay there's a lot in here

04:37and i named them on a the way i want to name them so this a is named clean me daddy this all my you

04:47know my clean uh the clean songs that i needed it's uh like gone or staying like i need those low ends

04:54you know clean me daddy i got everything you you need to get compressor there eq it a little bit um

05:01um this is parasite in your nut

05:07it's one it's very heavy and it's so heavy it's gonna have parasite in your nut but yeah for one

05:14song i use parasite in your nut it's very good um this one i use it for my g sharp uh clean balls you

05:24got you know you gotta clean your balls sometimes so this is it that's what we hear

05:32sometimes well when you're on tour you can't even clean your balls most you know something

05:41you know what and you got the heavy balls but i don't use heavy balls anymore because

05:47i got a friend from um he works with hollywood undead his name is jacob he hooked me up with the

05:55bootleg parallax so he got me this parallax sim it sounds like parallax it's neural y'all need to

06:03release that parallax as soon as possible we waiting bruh all the bass players are waiting

06:08you got to get it out as soon as possible so that's all my uh you know my presets

06:14for this one it's also a neural capture uh i got this from the neural and you know the neural uh

06:20thing uh forcer monster ir he probably captured it on a different cab i'm pretty sure there's another

06:26dark glass in here somewhere there you go there's a dark glass x900 pretty sure that's one of the main

06:33ones um i haven't looked up into this but i did aq it i mean for a little bit just to get the proper

06:40mids that i wanted and the proper low ends and there's this x ultra high i don't know what that

06:45is yes uh like the clean me daddy i'm using a uh a amp a bass cab amp modern and i try to distance the

06:53mics you know and use some dynamic 52s and ribbon tents because it sounds how it's supposed to be you

07:01know um as for you know for clean bass tones that's all i wanted i like i need that low end since we're

07:07playing a lot of pop and r&b ish and uh it just sounds better you know you don't you don't get to

07:15hear it a lot but once you feel the low end you know you know the bass is there yeah um same thing

07:21as the other ones i try to pray you know play with it a lot you still got the parasite in your nut bro um

07:28i got a dark glass bass cab in this one because it's a very heavy song um i have another euro captor

07:36a b7 k5 um tried to tweak it a little bit too as well and if i'm not if i don't have my drop d guitar

07:47i use the you know the transposer and just raise the four semitones up and it feels like you didn't

07:55it feels like nothing happened you know same guitar but just transpose it and uh i got the

08:00compressor to make it you know to make it clean no noise noise reduction of the gate i'm a simple

08:08man i don't put too much on my play you know my plugins is on the bass but that's most of it dude

08:14that's most of it um daniel do the midi and all the programming stuff he's the nerd guy i'm just here

08:20to play and to sing make you guys proud make you guys turn up i just got this recently uh it's from

08:27jh audio um customized it they got me they gave me an artist discount um i got the sleep theory logo in

08:33it um my ears always messed up but uh this is my first time having molded ones so this helps a lot

08:40like this actually helped me hear better on tour and yeah shout out to jh i use i do hand and

08:48this is my pick it's a tri triangular pick i forgot what you call them but joey from uh what's his name

08:56joey from pop evil show me these so i start like using these because they're bigger and you know i

09:02get sweaty hands a lot so if i get sweaty hands sometimes i turn them around and it it just plays

09:09better you know it's one millimeter yeah um yeah now we ordered more because we're running out of picks

09:14on the store and i like and uh in tune i'll gotta hurry up please i'm begging you so uh sleep theory
