00:06why not talking about Pompey's display today in the one-all draw at West Brom a really good

00:13hard-earned point from the Blues today excellent work really I spoke at half time about how West

00:19Brom were too comfortable West Brom in dominated possession and second half probably had a good

00:26moment second half but they equalised in the 56th minute when Josh Murphy put a great ball in from

00:31the left and there was Colby Bishop with a header out the blue really it's one-all straight away

00:38Colby as ever you can't write him off can you the disappointment of last week and I know he's taken

00:44a bit of stick from some people some people remain to be convinced about him and what he brings to

00:49the team but he always bounces back he always scores goals and it was a header from Josh Murphy

00:54probably chief creator we know that they're at the old partnership again won all and probably

01:00played quite well there in 15 minutes but then they had to defend and it was a game of very few

01:05goal-scoring opportunities and Pompey defended their box excellently really really outstanding

01:12Smith barely had anything to do actually that that's how well Pompey defended in terms of the

01:17defence and the midfield superb it was Regan Paul man of the match what a display I think what really

01:24makes it more outstanding the fact that Josh Knight has come to the football club uh Pompey paid a

01:30million pound for him clearly he's come to the football club to challenge that first team spot

01:34and the the the pressure is on the two centre-halves now and Regan Paul what a competitor

01:41blocking absolutely everything um there were appeals at one point when he was pulling somebody back and

01:48it was six one afterwards and the other and their manager got booked for it their manager then got

01:51sent off shortly afterwards with a penalty appeal but but he's just just ferocious competitor really

01:57is Regan um the amount of blocks he got in and just just got the last stitch interceptions and

02:05tackles he does it time and time again and and the fact that that that that that Josh Knight is here

02:11now he wasn't at the game he's just um he came back he came over from Germany on Wednesday drove over

02:16from Germany borrow accounts with his family in their car so he wasn't here today but those two

02:20now they've got a scrap in their hands haven't they with the newcomer coming in but I'll tell you

02:24what he's got a scrap to get in the team after their performance today those two absolutely outstanding

02:29which John Massino has spoken about I've just done a story now on our website uh talking about how

02:34Josh Knight fits into the team about how um those two had a point to prove today so plenty to like about the

02:41but it was a really gutsy fighting performance from Pompey team performance but I'll pick out

02:48the two central defenders there for obvious reasons so we left here last year 5-1 in January actually

02:55wasn't it 5-1 after he rotated the team uh quite a few of those players are no longer at the football

03:01club because they weren't yet at the championship standard to be polite uh and they've been replaced

03:08now and Pompey picked up a very good point today away from home West Brom got suddenly Pompey equalised

03:13West Brom got very frustrated Ryan Mason was sent off their fans got frustrated uh everyone moaning

03:20about the referee or whatever but Pompey just dug in I think they picked about five bookings Pompey I

03:24think five or six bookings as well um it was a real team effort at the end um excellent I mean every

03:31fan there would have been presumably delighted about that performance today from Pompey four points away

03:36from home in the opening two away games who would have thought that after how bad Pompey were on the

03:40travels last season um so plenty to like about today gutsy and they've got a point and now they go back

03:47to Fretton Park against Preston so uh yeah Regan Paul come to be my man of the match what a display

03:53was a competitor you gotta love him in you really so uh we'll see how that centre-half position develops

03:58now with with Josh Knight in the building but at the moment those two can take some shifting thank you
