00:00Yesterday, a video went viral that showed an Egyptian man throwing plastic bottles filled with rice, pasta, lentils into the ocean, hoping that they would float to Gaza.
00:13I read the translated version and I sobbed like a baby. The way he asked for forgiveness, the way he begged Noah, the prophet Noah, peace be upon him, to take these bottles to the people of Gaza, like that.
00:28That video hit me some way different. Like, look at the Egyptian government and how they have closed the Rafa border, how they are not letting food or aid in or injured people out.
00:41And the simple, normal, everyday people are filling up plastic bottles on the hope, on the hope that it would somehow get through and feed someone just for one day, one day.
00:54But you know what? I'm crying because I'm really touched as well, because I've seen images today, because that video went viral and I have seen image after image of Egyptians going to the seaside, to the beach near the water, throwing in the same bottles, leaving little messages of solidarity, of hope.
01:14And I am just praying to God that some of these bottles do wash up on the shores of the beach in Gaza.
01:22But even in itself, this act, this simple act of solidarity, while international governments, including Muslim governments, have stood by while the Palestinian people are forcibly starved.
01:41It's not a famine. They're forcibly starved. The borders can be open. People can be fed.
01:47Thousands upon tens of thousands of children are at risk of dying, of starvation.
01:54There are 1.6 million people in the Strip. There are so many hungry people. They are so desperate.
02:01They are going to aid centres where they are being slaughtered like lambs. Enough is enough.
02:07If the desperate actions of a few heartfelt people doesn't move you, I don't know what will.
02:15They are starving to death. It is stage five.
02:20They are eating themselves from the inside.
02:23I spoke to Mohammed two days ago, and he had to take his wife and his children to the dentist because their teeth are rotting away, because they are not getting the vitamins they need.
02:37And I need to bring you another story about that as well.
02:41But we'll get to that later.
02:43But guys, we can't keep letting them starve like this.
02:47I am trying my best to feed Mohammed and his family.
02:51But there are so many families that have no one.
02:55They don't have people like you to help.
02:57People that can go in the link in the bio and do something.
