00:00Christians believe that in the first chapter of the first Gospel of John that Jesus is identified as the Word.
00:06The Word was incarnated or made flesh.
00:09And like the comment here, it says in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
00:15I would like to point out something in the Revelation that Muslims believe in, the Holy Quran, which God says in chapter 3, verse 45.
00:22Here Allah says,
00:30And so we see here that Muslims and Christians both believe that Jesus is a Word from God.
00:42But Muslims do not believe that when Allah Almighty God placed the unborn Jesus into Miriam, that He actually put a part of Himself inside of her.
00:52So we understand this as when God Almighty Allah calls Jesus a Word, this simply means that for Jesus Christ, the Messiah, Son of Mary, to be created, Allah only says one word, and that is be.
01:12And then the creation is in existence.
01:15And so when God Almighty Allah says be, and then the Spirit of Jesus Christ is created, then this is when Angel Gabriel, a.k.a. the Holy Spirit, takes the roof, the Spirit, the light, and takes it and puts it and blows it onto Mother Mary, and she becomes pregnant.
01:37It's upon Allah.
01:38So Jesus is only the Son of Mary.
01:41Jesus Christ, peace be upon Him, has no father.
01:43Jesus Christ, peace be upon Him, is the only prophet mentioned in the Quran by his mother.
01:50There's no other prophet that is mentioned by their mother.
01:53Usually people in that culture, they are referred to by their father's name.
02:00And so this is so beautiful because Allah is trying to, you know, make a point, is making a point, that Jesus is the Son of Miriam.
02:10Jesus is not the Son of God.
02:12Jesus does not have a father, just like Prophet Adam.
02:15And, you know, the first two humans, Adam and Eve, they don't have a father or a mother.
02:21So this is beautiful, right?
02:23So, inshallah, this makes sense to any Christians that are confused about this because, just because, you know, in the Bible, Jesus is referred to as the Word.
02:33The Word was with God.
02:34Well, Muslims believe that Jesus is a Word, but He is not a part of God.
02:40God did not take a part of Himself and, you know, make it into Jesus.
02:45You know, when Allah created us or the earth or anything, all He says is a Word.
02:49Be.
02:50And it is.
02:50So this is why Jesus Christ, peace be upon Him, is referred to as a Word from Him.
02:55Samhan Allah.
02:56As-salamu alaykum.
