00:00Here is one of the scientific miracles in the Holy Qur'an.
00:04In the Holy Qur'an, God, Allah Almighty, He speaks about the stages of man's development in the embryonic stage.
00:11Allah says in chapter 23, verses 12 through 14,
00:16We created man from an extract of clay.
00:19Then we made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed.
00:23Then we made the drop into an alaqah.
00:25And then we made the alaqah into a madgha.
00:28And literally the Arabic word for alaqah, it has three meanings.
00:34Leech, suspended thing, and blood clot.
00:37In comparing a leech to an embryo in the alaqah stage, we find similarity between the two.
00:43Also, the embryo at this stage obtains nourishment from the blood of the mother,
00:48similar to the leech which feeds off the blood of others.
00:53The second meaning of the word alaqah is suspended thing.
00:56This is what we see in these pictures here.
01:01Beep, beep.
01:02It says that the suspension of the embryo during the alaqah stage in the womb of the mother.
01:09The third meaning of the word alaqah is blood clot.
01:15We see that the external appearance of the embryo and its sacs during the alaqah stage is similar to that of a blood clot.
01:23This is due to the presence of a relatively large amount of blood present in the embryo during this stage.
01:30And then in the madgah stage, it says it's like a chewed substance.
01:38And subhanAllah, we see that it really does look very similar to like a chewed piece of gum.
01:44This is insane because how would the prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, known this without today's modern technology?
01:56You know, scientists just learned actually over a thousand years after Muhammad, peace be upon him, his death that human beings weren't just tiny human beings that go into a mother's womb and grow into bigger human beings.
02:16SubhanAllah, this is only one of the many miracles of the holy Qur'an.
02:21And if you haven't picked up a holy Qur'an, I really recommend it.
02:25It is the best book you will ever read and it is the perfect guidance for all of mankind.
