00:21Um, I am, uh, I'm, I'm, I'm truly honored, um, humbled and overwhelmed.

00:39I am all too aware of the hundreds of talented artists that have preceded me and their contribution

00:48to the world of cinema. Roughly, uh, 200 celebrities have, uh, had their hands and their feet and

00:56their signatures imprinted in the concrete focal of this, uh, beautiful picture palace

01:02since its first ceremony in 1927. Never in my wildest dreams as a young boy growing up

01:11in South London could I have imagined standing here one day as an honoree.

01:18I am immensely grateful, not only to my, uh, collaborators over the years and the people

01:25close to me that have supported me in my career, but to the public, the audiences and fans who

01:34have embraced that career. Uh, I consider myself fortunate to be a, a part of a community

01:43and a profession that, that can move people. One that evokes emotions and inspires and sparks

01:53the imagination. It is a true gift which all began with a fantasy. A small working class

02:01kid looking up at the big silver screen and thinking to himself, could I do that? It's been

02:08quite a journey. One I never could have believed I would still be on with a body of work spanning

02:1640 years behind me. I feel blessed and privileged to do what I do and today it has been made all

02:25the richer by this incredible honor.

02:29Kate, Jacob, I am, I'm deeply honored that you're here and, uh, God bless you for your wonderful words,

02:41your kind words. Thank you. Thank you so much. Douglas, uh, my dear, my dear friend, my business collaborator,

02:52my brother. You and your lovely wife, Diane, have been with me through it all and it's been very colorful.

03:03I am grateful for your support and guidance through these, these many years, the highs and the lows.

03:16And there were lows. Um, Jim, Osborne, my other champion through the years. Thank you.

03:28Giselle, my boys, Alfie, he couldn't be with us today. Gulliver, Charlie, uh, my stepson, William.

03:40If it, if it, if it were not for your unconditional love, patience and encouragement, I would, in all honesty,

03:46not be up here right now. So I, I, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It is, it is such a joy

03:54to really, uh, look around today. Uh, we have the lovely Clementine. We have Felix, Aaron,

04:04Dr. Jeffrey, Dr. Jeffrey, William. We have Jules, Willow, a little Scarlet, um, it, it, Kelly. It, it, it's,

04:16it's Desiree who does my hair. Um, it's just, it's just glorious. Just sharing this day, uh, with you all.
