00:14minute to film this video it is my last 24 hours in San Francisco before I fly

00:19over international waters and I thought instead of working again and the

00:25Salesforce tower which I did yesterday and by the way it was absolutely

00:29incredible I thought I'd be a woman about town today I can take you guys with me

00:34anyways our first stop is ooh coffee okay no I'm holding out I'm holding out for

00:41this specific place we'll talk about it in a bit our first stop is not well-known

00:46SF spot we're going to my friend Humphrey's apartment you might know him

00:49on YouTube I hung out with him yesterday and of course didn't get any footage and

00:53he's out of town today but I had a very important package delivered to his

00:57apartment and he very kindly gave me the code to get into his building so I could

01:01go pick it up

01:02I am in Humphrey's building going to retrieve his keys for the mailbox but I won't dox them

01:18you can't tell where I am

01:19I got it this was an overnight air nail which is actually there

01:28acquired we'll talk at the end of the video about where we're going but I have a flight at 7 30 in the

01:39morning tomorrow got this just in time

01:42these hills are no joke I'm getting my steps in not only that but I'm walking at I mean this one's

01:57moderate but oftentimes walking out of a 30 degree freaking hill which I don't know you can kind of

02:03tell here and again this one's moderate we'll go to one a little bit that's not so moderate but anyways

02:09Jesus thought I was in shape sometimes I'm like Taylor not as in shape as you think you are

02:15anyways I thought I'd walk on Union Street to get to this coffee shop because it's kind of the one I've been exploring a little bit and it's really nice

02:43and then look how fun this is it looks like a cinema but it's literally an equinox

02:53the coffee shop that I'm walking to right now a friend of ours said he thinks it's the best coffee in the world

03:01in the world and I was like that's high praise and he said I think people actually underuse that superlative

03:07you know and that's kind of true like my favorite coffee in New York

03:11might as well be the best coffee in the world you know but anyways SF is a huge city for coffee

03:18which obviously makes me very happy and so I am doing the 30 minute walk because it's just really

03:22nice out and I've been waking up earlier when I come to the west coast from New York I try and stay on

03:28Eastern time so I wake up like a normal person

03:33you call me up and ask me would I like to go with you and see a movie

03:39we're doing it we're digging we're digging

03:42first I say no I've got some

03:45some art

03:46plans for tonight and then I stop

03:49and say all right

03:53love is kind of crazy with a spooky little boy like you

03:58you always keep me guessing

04:04I'm really tickled by these disguised gyms

04:17that's the coffee shop I'm just now leaving

04:23um I liked it I do like my New York coffee spot even more

04:51it really is such a pretty city

04:54I just looked at the map and here I'll actually give you the visual

04:57I am here I'm this little blue dot and I want to walk to here

05:05that's an hour that's an hour walk

05:07anyways I just don't have much spatial awareness obviously of this city

05:11so kind of taking a lot of Ubers today but they're cheap they're like 10 bucks

05:14and whatever I want to see some of the city it's my last day

05:17excited for the next location I'll show you guys

06:07yeah I got that recommendation from a couple people

06:11a really cute coffee shop as you guys saw

06:13very open and airy

06:14and on my way out ran into some subscribers

06:16they were so so sweet

06:18three really nice girls

06:19and they said hi as I was walking out

06:21which made me feel nice and special

06:23and then I told them my plan for the rest of the day

06:25and they said I'm doing it right

06:26so thank you guys

07:42and I've done that

07:43I've been guilty of really not

07:44diving into more detail

07:46because like

07:46I don't know

07:47who cares

07:48but if you actually give more detail

07:50sometimes it's interesting

07:51what I was working on personally

07:53was obviously beautiful

07:55very nice

07:59I am starting to work with a team again

08:01which I'm really excited about

08:02for reference

08:03I never really told you guys this

08:05I have worked solo

08:07like I pretty much do

08:08I mean I do everything myself

08:10when it comes to the videos

08:11when it comes to brand deals

08:12and kind of the money side of things

08:15I also do everything myself

08:16but there was a time

08:17where I worked with

08:19some talent managers

08:21or agents

08:22who brought me deals

08:22and then there came a point

08:24where I was like

08:24it makes more sense

08:25to just do this myself

08:26because I have relationships

08:28with brands

08:28and I need to work with other people

08:30and give away

08:31you know 20%

08:32at the same time

08:33when I think about

08:34my goals

08:34and where I want to go

08:37with building my brand

08:38and all that

08:38I also realize

08:40like I can't do everything

08:42myself forever

08:42and I'm very cyclical

08:44with my thinking on this

08:45because then I'll be like

08:46wait why can't I

08:47because I have up until this point

08:48but for a while now

08:50I've been in the mindset of

08:51no I want to work with other people

08:53not just for

08:54here I'll take a seat

08:55because for some reason

08:56I'm just perpetually

08:57out of breath in this city

08:58not just for brand deals

08:59and kind of getting my foot

09:01in the door

09:01with certain opportunities

09:02that I wouldn't otherwise

09:02get myself

09:03but also honestly

09:04to just keep me motivated

09:06and keep me on top of my shit

09:07which I'm pretty good at myself

09:09but I could improve

09:11and just to always be

09:12balancing ideas

09:13and helping me strategize

09:15like I was with Humphrey

09:15last night

09:16and he's a great example

09:17of this

09:18I should walk

09:19he has a social media strategist

09:20and people that he talks to

09:22you know once every year

09:23to help him

09:24think through strategy

09:25on his channel

09:26and I've never really

09:27solicited much help

09:28when it comes to those things

09:29and I think it would be helpful

09:31because there's a lot of

09:31smart people out there

09:32you know

09:32I don't need to do it all myself

09:34it's hard to put it into words

09:37when I tried

09:40well I felt absurd

09:42but you light the rules

09:44of my soul

09:46now tell myself

09:48anyways

10:57I've been thinking about

10:57because I think it will resonate

10:58with a lot of you guys

11:00it might sound like a sad thing

11:02as I get into it

11:03but it's really not

11:04and here's what it is

11:06I think that when I was

11:07in my early 20s

11:08and even before that

11:09it dawned on me

11:10or I had the question

11:11to myself

11:12will I notice

11:14when I'm getting older

11:15or will it just happen

11:16and go by

11:17without me actually

11:18clocking it

11:19and I have an answer

11:20I 100% notice it

11:23it really really hit me

11:24the other night

11:24I was going to

11:26a friend's birthday party

11:27and he rented out

11:29this room

11:30the back room

11:31of this club

11:31that a lot of like

11:3222 year olds

11:33will find themselves at

11:34and it's the type of club

11:35or the type of bar

11:36that I would have

11:37by the way gone to

11:38when I first moved to New York

11:39but to get to his back room

11:41that he rented out

11:42for his party

11:42I had to go through

11:43all that

11:44I had to go through

11:44the sweaty 22 year olds

11:46jumping up and down

11:47and as I was

11:48making my way through there

11:49I realized

11:50I will never find

11:53this type of club

11:55this type of bar

11:56fun again

11:57that might sound like

11:58I'm a curmudgeon

11:58or a bah humbug

12:00or like I'm just not

12:01fun anymore

12:02and that's really not it

12:04because I still love

12:05to have my nights out

12:06and get a little silly

12:07but that's not the type

12:08of place

12:09at least that

12:10I like to go to anymore

12:11that was just a very

12:12distinct moment

12:13where I realized

12:14I've gotten older

12:16my tastes have changed

12:17and so anyways

12:18I'm only 27

12:19like I'm not trying

12:20to sound like

12:20old wise Taylor

12:22but I definitely

12:23notice the differences

12:24that realization

12:24might make some people sad

12:26like I've actually

12:26talked about this

12:27with a few people

12:28where they talk about it

12:30with a more regretful tone

12:31but for me

12:32it's not sad

12:33it's just a noticing

12:34of the passing of time

12:36and changes in preferences

12:37but not in a bad way

12:38I really really love

12:39feeling more confident

12:41in myself

12:42and knowing myself

12:43so much better now

12:44than I did

12:44even a few years ago

12:46honestly

12:46and I'm sure

12:47in five years

12:47I'll look back

12:48on the things

12:49that I find fun now

12:50and my tastes

12:51and preferences

12:52will have changed

12:52by then too

12:53anyways
