00:00So in the city of Bristol, there is always loads of things to do from kind of your food to your drink places, from festivals to pop up gigs.
00:11There's just loads going on. And one thing that is very exciting is that Noah's Ark Zoo Farm. So tell me a little bit about that.
00:18Yes. Well, the zoo, which is in the outskirts of Bristol, has officially opened its new refurbished line space,
00:26which looks absolutely incredible with an area for visitors to view and be quite close from a safe, with a safe glass to the lions.
00:37They've also well underway with the new tiger habitat to welcome aqua in autumn.
00:44And it's all part of Project Canivora, which is a multi-phase project,
00:49an ambitious effort to enhance eclosures for big cats and welcome new species to the zoo,
00:56including tigers, arctic foxes and hooded vultures.
01:01And this week also marks the birthdays of the two lions, Arusha and Tao, who are actually being born at Bristol Zoo a few years ago.
01:11So to mark the occasion, they celebrated with blood ice lollies and stimulating enrichment activities.
01:19Yes. Oh, that sounds very exciting and a happy birthday to them.
01:25So should we move on to something for those who are travelling further afield,
01:30because Bristol Airport has something exciting. Tell us about that.
01:34Yes. Well, the airport has officially opened its brand new escape lounge on the first floor of the departure area,
01:41marking a major milestone in its multi-million pound terminal transformation.
01:47The luxury facilities adds an extra 140 seats, more than doubling capacity,
01:53and features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked in the eastern apron for panoramic aircraft views.
02:03It's designed with the southwest in mind, and the lounge includes distinct zones for dining, working and relaxing,
02:10from cosy cushioned seating to quiet workspaces.
02:14And passengers will also be able to enjoy a variety of freshly prepared hot and cold food alongside local alcoholic beverages.
02:24Oh, thank you. That sounds very lovely for those people who are travelling this summer.
02:28So should we move on to something else that's a little bit unique?
02:33A nightclub is coming to Bristol, and they have got a very specific rule. Tell us about that.
02:39Yes. Well, the team behind Lakota is bringing the new nightclub, Moon Club,
02:46a new 200-capacity venue in Stockscraft, which will be opening on September 6th.
02:55It's positioned as a sister venue to the iconic Lakota.
