Lots of things are happening in the city including a historic building in the city lit up in a new permanent art installation and a new dim sum restaurant opening.

00:00So, as ever, there is loads to do in the city of Bristol this week, from theatre to food,

00:07comedy to music, but one thing some theatrical locals are particularly excited about is a

00:13six-week course starting at Bristol Improv Theatre. Charlie, tell us more about that.

00:19I can. So, Bristol Improv Theatre, like you mentioned, on St Paul's Road in Clifden, is

00:25giving performers an introduction to the art of improvisation. So, this happens regularly

00:32within the theatre industry, and the course is now teaching locals the fundamentals of

00:39the skill through games, exercises, scenes and more. The courses are also taught by two

00:46experienced facilitators. Thank you, Charlie. That sounds like a lot

00:51of fun for those looking to expand their theatrical skill set. So, shall we move on

00:56to Bristol's Light Festival? So, last year was a massive success and drew a lot of footfall

01:02to the city, but what can we expect from this year's?

01:05Yeah, so the Bristol Light Festival is back in the city until February 9th, and last year's

01:12edition, like you mentioned, it attracted 275,000 visitors, bringing a huge £8.7 million

01:21of additional revenue to the area. Now, the festival is funded by the Bristol City Centre

01:28Business Improvement District in partnership with the Redcliffe and Temple bid. So, yeah,

01:35this brand new production of Dear Evan Hansen is the first in the UK to feature an ensemble

01:42packed with some of the biggest musical theatre songs of the last decade. The show has a score

01:49by Benj, Passek and Justin Paul. Thank you, Charlie. So, that will be a very
