00:00Wolverhampton Wanderers are underway in the new Premier League season
00:07but there's a sense that the side must turn off any outside noise and ignore whispers of relegation.
00:14Vitor Pereira now tasked with guiding Wolves through another challenging campaign
00:19knows the importance of focus.
00:23Despite a summer of targeted recruitment, questions remain over whether the squad
00:28has the consistency to challenge higher up the table.
00:32The key will be keeping players concentrated on performance rather than speculation.
00:37With rivals strengthening and expectations fluctuating,
00:41Wolves' priority will be to build confidence early
00:44and avoid being drawn into distractions that could deround momentum.
00:49For further insights on Wolves' mindset, we spoke to Charlie Haffenden of Birmingham World
00:54who believes that whilst there's awareness of potential pitfalls,
00:59the club must embrace a collective focus and ignore external chatter
01:03to give themselves the best chance of a stable campaign.
01:07The Premier League predictions start to roll in across social media, etc.
01:13I mean, it seems like a lot of people are writing Wolves off.
01:16They're writing, in terms of relegation, that dreaded word that has been hovering over Molyneux
01:22for the last few seasons now.
01:23They want to make sure they are sort of that stabilised mid-table side.
01:27It's obviously a big ass, a lot easier said than done,
01:30but the home form has a massive sort of impact on that.
01:32You look at the likes of Crystal Palace, I mean, they go through a lot of ups and downs,
01:37but then tend to just come through a bit because of that home form.
01:42I mean, obviously, the last two seasons, in Wolves' favour,
01:45the teams who've come up have gone straight back down.
01:47People are throwing Wolves in to be one of the clubs to go down
01:51and one of the new guys to stay up.
01:54What do you sort of think in terms of your predictions
01:56and where Wolves can end up?
01:58Because it is a bit precarious when you are losing such important players.
02:02Yeah, it's going to be close, I think, but I think the core of the team is there.
02:07There are some exciting new additions, so it depends how they gel,
02:10but they could be very good.
02:12Someone like Arias could be incredible, for instance,
02:14but someone like an Agpadu at centre-back,
02:17having a partnership with Gomez and Andre in midfield,
02:19having Strand Larsson up top,
02:21they're just such great players and to get relegated would be a shock,
02:25I think, if you've got those individuals available.
02:27If they start getting injured, then maybe Wolves could be in trouble,
02:30but I think if Wolves can keep those core players fit and raring to go
02:34and confident, then I think they'll have every chance of being absolutely fine
02:38and potentially pushing into mid-table.
02:40Sunderland is a worry.
02:41Probably the team before the transfer win, though,
02:44everyone was said it would be 20th,
02:45but now making some incredible signings could be the team to surprise everyone.
02:50We'll have to wait and see,
02:51but I think Wolves, just about with the players they've got, will be OK.
02:54A full-back cover with Wolves, you know, Wolves by name,
02:58now Wolves by the club as well, which is pretty interesting there.
03:01He said it's a match made in heaven.
03:03I mean, that is showing a bit of a change in their transfer strategy
03:06because, you know, over the last few seasons,
03:09Foson have been very slow to react.
03:11It seems like, you know, they've got their players in
03:14and they're seemingly making good progress in terms of their transfer strategy.
03:18That means January could be another interesting month, as it was this year.
03:22But they are showing backing towards Vito Pereira.
03:25He's a man who obviously captured the sort of hearts of the fan base,
03:28but it's so important now that he really knuckles down on the pitch.
03:33I mean, let's be honest, his short sort of spell so far
03:36has not really made that many errors as a Premier League manager.
03:40So maybe that's something that Wolves really need to hang on to,
03:43is the way Pereira started and hope this sort of, you know,
03:47early manager phase doesn't really die out
03:49and he can really try and get some good results again this season.
03:52Now, I think every confidence in Pereira as a manager,
03:55he's charismatic, he's pragmatic as well.
03:57He's good at getting the best out of a bad situation.
04:00Got to remember, Cunha was suspended for several games,
04:03was it three or four games after being sent off against Bournemouth in the FA Cup?
04:07What a silly moment that was.
04:08He was able to cope without.
04:10Strand Larson, you could probably argue,
04:11was better when Cunha wasn't on the pitch.
04:14So that's another positive.
04:15You've got the likes of Rodrigo Gomez,
04:17who might want to step up this season,
04:18who didn't quite have the opportunity last year.
04:20Maybe he could play in either wingback position
04:23or as part of the front three as well.
04:25So you've got that as a positive.
04:27It's tricky.
04:28Wolves need to find someone who's capable down the right-hand side
04:30because Semedo was such a critical part of Pereira's system.
04:34But every faith in Pereira as a manager,
04:36he does get the best out of the bad situations
04:39and should be able to help Wolves push on next season.
04:42Durst.
04:44He does share this recording moment
04:44from the都是 word Love and God,
04:45and he represents the allowances
04:46that we're being sent out to do before.
04:48So we're going to try to name Following Eve.
04:50All right.
04:51I'm on the way through the news.
04:51I hope you can ask him.
04:52I've got a gift.
04:52I've got you.
04:53I'm going to go back if the assets media
04:55force.
04:58We want you.
04:59I don't know.
05:01Never do anything.
05:02I need to stick with forever.
05:03They've gotiku.
05:04You're going to be the best out of the fair tiers.
05:05You're going to struggle again.
05:06Obviously.
05:06We want you to get to get to know
05:07if you're going to put thesenarành
05:07Williams and I still hear you?
05:08I see you.
