00:00South African authorities have arrested six individuals including conservationist George Hume, the former owner of what was once the world's largest rhino farm in connection with a sprouting rhino-owned trafficking syndicate.
00:15The Specialized Ox Unit concluded a seven-year investigation into transnational rhino-owned trafficking, culminating in the arrests on Tuesday.
00:25Prosecutors alleged the group secured nearly 964 rhino-orns, some 15% of the southern white rhino population, using fraudulent permits intended exclusively for domestic trade and illegally exporting them to Southeast Asia.
