00:00If you love wine, art, and history, you need to visit this winery in the south of France.
00:04La Commanderie de Parisot is a stunning estate founded by the Knights of Templar in 1204.
00:10These days, it's home to a winery producing world-class white, red, and rosé wines.
00:14Stay in one of their gorgeous guest rooms and start the day with a dip in the pool,
00:18surrounded by nature. We took a tour of the vineyards. They have hundreds of
00:22olive trees on the property and press their own olive oil. Then headed into the production
00:26room to see the many aging vessels used to make their diverse range of wines.
00:31Parisot's owner is an avid art collector, particularly contemporary art,
00:35and his extensive collection is on display in curated exhibits in their galleries,
00:39as well as throughout the property within the vineyards and forests, which can be explored
00:43on a bike tour. Tucked in the middle of the vineyards is their Michelin-starred restaurant,
00:47Chez Jeunet, which serves elegant dishes highlighting in-season produce grown on the property.
00:53Enjoy it, of course, with a glass of rosé.
