With over 20,000 wine bottles and 3,500 different choices, this hidden gem is one of the best wine cellars in the country. In this video, we visit The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado to examine their extensive wine collection, which includes rare bottles of wine that can’t be found anywhere else.

00:02Basically, if you love wine, you care about wine, you should be here.

00:06Hey everyone, I'm Chris Donoey.
00:07I'm the wine director here at The Little Nell in Aspen.
00:10And we're two floors below the hotel.
00:12And what I would say is probably the best room the hotel has to offer.
00:15There are over 20,000 bottles of wine in this cellar.
00:19And 3,500 different choices on the list.
00:21And we're going to have Chris show us some things that you would never find literally anywhere else.
00:26All right, and this is the Commando G El Tamboril Biologico Blanco.
00:31100% Trebbiano grown in the Sierra de Gredos area of Spain.
00:35Incredibly rare, only 104 bottles produced.
00:38So it's quite impossible to find, but quite impossible to resist when you get a chance to taste it.
00:42And the next selection here is the Luis Pato Quinto de Moinho 2000 vintage from Barris area in Portugal.
00:47It's 100% of a grape called Baga, which is indigenous to this one specific place.
00:51If you like grape Bordeaux and grape Barolo, it's the perfect marriage of both of those expressions.
00:55This last bottle here we have is a 2010 Domaine de la Romani Conti Romani Conti from a vineyard that is the size roughly of our pool area here at the hotel.
01:02Incredibly difficult to find and often incredibly difficult to afford, but absolutely delicious, considered one of the greatest wines in the world.
