00:00Today we're in a really exciting room.
00:02Basically, if you love wine, you care about wine, you should be here.
00:06This is where you need to be.
00:06Hey everyone, I'm Chris Donoey.
00:07I'm the wine director here at The Little Nell in Aspen.
00:10And we're two floors below the hotel.
00:12And what I would say is probably the best room the hotel has to offer.
00:15There are over 20,000 bottles of wine in this cellar.
00:19And 3,500 different choices on the list.
00:21And we're going to have Chris show us some things that you would never find literally anywhere else.
00:26All right, and this is the Commando G El Tamboril Biologico Blanco.
00:31100% Trebbiano grown in the Sierra de Gredos area of Spain.
00:35Incredibly rare, only 104 bottles produced.
00:38So it's quite impossible to find, but quite impossible to resist when you get a chance to taste it.
00:42And the next selection here is the Luis Pato Quinto de Moinho 2000 vintage from Barris area in Portugal.
00:47It's 100% of a grape called Baga, which is indigenous to this one specific place.
00:51If you like grape Bordeaux and grape Barolo, it's the perfect marriage of both of those expressions.
00:55This last bottle here we have is a 2010 Domaine de la Romani Conti Romani Conti from a vineyard that is the size roughly of our pool area here at the hotel.
01:02Incredibly difficult to find and often incredibly difficult to afford, but absolutely delicious, considered one of the greatest wines in the world.
01:09You sure you got this right?
01:10Yeah, I mean, it's only $35,000 on the list.
01:13Why not?
01:13I'll just chuck it.
01:14Nope, just kidding.
01:15I'll see you next time.
